Can’t show up thinking they’re just going to concede tho. Every game feels like a must-win now. That being said, don’t even dare rushing Bron back….especially in light of what we just saw from across the hall. Prayers up, but looks like a PCL/MCL injury to me and that all about wraps up their chances this year.

Lakers are missing a little guy named LeBron as well. It’s no gimmie.

As of today we are 11th, just out of the play- in. If we lose against the Suns tonight that'll probably push us down to 12th spot. Had AD played in that game against the Rockets we would have some cushion in the loss column (assuming we won) and had built on that momentum. But now we have little room for error and need to finish up strong and hope teams ahead of us takes on some loses.

I'm leaning towards no. I HATE to say it, but LA has to get it together now and basically win almost all of their upcoming games. Wolves have their injured players coming back soon. Jazz keep hanging in there. Warriors have Steph back. OKC is playing well. None of the other teams in this same window are free-falling so Lakers can only save themselves.

This squad has a ton of potential and would have been a top 6 seed to start the season, but it's just too late.

I want to be wrong though! Go Lakers!

I’m back to no on this. Even if Utah does tank (Danny loves his picks), you still have the Pels and OKC.

OKC with SGA playing every game will make it.

Pels…that’s the wild card. Can these Lakers beat out the Pels and Jazz? If they don’t, AD’s rep specifically is going to take a hit. Can’t beat out the Ingram led Pels or Markkannen led Jazz? Yikes.

It’s one thing to say SGA is better/more impactful than AD. He always has the ball in his hands. The other 2? Maybe Shaq was right about AD.

This team was never built around AD. It was built for and around Lebron. AD needs to do better, but come on.

Oh Lebron is not absolved in this.

He still thinks he can carry a team like he’s 28, but LeGrandpa can’t and all the young bucks sniff the blood in the water.

The Lakers are a year too late already in pivoting to a new roster with the max slots going to more available players.

I've been no, sadly, for some time now. I saw the writing on the wall long ago. I hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see the Lakers making the play-in. And I hate that.

Right now, you have 7 teams within 1.5 games of each other that are competing for 1 playoff spot and 4 play-in spots.

Five of our 10 remaining games are against the 7 teams.

Seven of our 10 remaining games are against teams that are .500 or lower.

Things really couldn't be set up much easier for us. So if we don't make the play-ins at this point it's a huge fail.

As long as we play well and don't make a dumb trade in the offseason, I'm good with whatever happens.

Except if we miss the playoffs then we need the Pelicans to miss also so we both get lotto picks.

So if we make it in, anything can happen... especially with all the random injuries in the West.

And if we don't make it in... we get a good draft pick if the Pels also miss.

It's looking like a no. The team has lost all of its fight and pride. They burned themselves out getting to. 500 and don't have much fight left save for a game or two when the shooters get hot.

If you have to play harder than the other guy every night it becomes a problem unless you have a very specific roster.

It's funny how we're only 1.5 games from the 6th seed and people here are just running up the white flag. I wish I got into a poker game with some of you. I'd make a fortune just on how often you fold your hands.

2 games back from 5th Clippers and they're missing PG so every team is scrambling like mad right now. Because the Suns are only half a game ahead of 5th and they're missing KD and Ayton.

The west looks wide open right now. I can't understand why so many people are in doomsday mode.

Im gonna go out on a limb here but i think when its all said and done we will be a 4th seed. PHX and LAC are dealing with injuries and have tough schedules to close out. I think we will go 8-1 in the last 9 to lock in the 4th seed. LFG

Same. Everybody's saying we have to win every game because the teams around us can win every game, but that's in a vacuum. Ideally they can't. Take the Clippers for example, they play the Pels twice. "Oh the Pels can win both those" sure, and that brings the Clips to almost level with us. They also play Thunder again. "Oh the Thunder can win that" sure, but that brings the Clips closer to us.

Well the Thunder can win every game, sure but that makes it harder for the Jazz to overtake us.

As long as we take care of business at a reasonable level we should be fine

Is Anthony out for the Clippers game?

Second night of a back-to-back, strategic rest. They lost to Houston without him, that could be a critical decision.

They said he would play this one, which makes the game he sat out against Houston ridiculous and making no sense.

DeMar DeRozan said “everything’s a go” for the LA back-to-back.

Was there any doubt? From this dude, to LaVine being an UCLA guy, to AC to PatBev…you know they treating this home & home vs us as their title games. Hope we come correct, cause if we come out of this unscathed, we technically got 2 games on Okc and the Pels (if they lose to the cLips tonight), since we a game ahead of them in the loss column AND we own tiebreakers against those teams. We also 1 game ahead of Dallas in the loss column at the moment, but they own the tiebreaker with us.
