Looked at the Dallas roster. Not much of anything outside of Luka and Kyrie. No size. If Vando and Shro can at least keep them in check, Lakers could smoke em. _________________ Thanks Danny Ainge! |

Hurts not having D Lo. If we want the 6 seed this is a must win |

These early Sunday games always feel like trap games. I’m sure Kyrie will be looking to showcase himself too. Hope they’re ready. _________________ 14-5-3-12 |

Do you guys think Reeves can guard Kyrie also? Not sure if I seen history on this.
I seen DS guard Kyrie sometimes and done a decent job. But Reeves height maybe would work better ? |

Schröder is probably a better match up. No one can guard Irving 1vs1. It takes a team effort. |

Things could change or be different I know...but based on what we saw with Poole and Dame...ummm no.
If Kyrie is in then Schro should be in guarding him and we'll still have to make up for the mismatch in other areas. TBjr could possibly be plan B on Kyrie but will also be plan B on Luka. We need LBJ and AD to smoke their defenders more than our back court gets smoked.
Maybe try Vande on Luka _________________ “When it looks as if it is a realistic possibility, I want to focus on winning a ship like it’s a goal that can’t be denied. I didn’t see that this off season.” |

I remember DS lit Kyrie up in his first stint here. Kyrie wanted to fight him lol _________________ Coach Vogel, Kidd, Hollins

Schro is not D Lo but he can score and pressure the rim also, so at least he can make Kyrie work on the other end. It’s why I would use him over Brown, Mavs will try to hide Kyrie defensively don’t give them the option. |

Possibly but if we want to win playoff games we will need to play some at this time on the weekend. The typical NBA schedule in the 1st round follows this format on the weekend. There would be some 3:30 ET or so start times.
The worst though for a west team is when they go on a long east road trip and end up playing a team like Toronto or so at 1PMET. That's tough.
This is a one off in Dallas coming off a long all-star break where there's been one game in 10 days. I think we should be ready and fine. |

We win this game and we are in business
Gotta find a way. Lebron and AD should eat against this crappy defense. |

Kyrie and Luka will get theirs, it’s on AD and Bron to match them production per production but man, when did the last time you can say our 3-8 is the better one |

DEFENSIVELY it will take a unified team effort to contain Luka and Kyrie.
Throw defenders at them and also make them expend energy on defense.
DEFENSE IS THE KEY! ..... GO LAKERS!! |

Tru dat!
We just can't let their other guys go off. Our defensive pressure and intensity will be a huge factor one way or the other.
We can't play lethargic from the start. We have to come out fast to curb their momentum and to keep the crowd out of it. |

Unless the Mavs have some fluke game where they shoot 40-50% from outside, this game shouldn’t be close. |

It's going to suck not having DLO for this game and Kyrie likely about to go off X_X Let's hope our depth can carry us through! _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

I really wish people would stop doing this and set up these unrealistic expectations that we’re gonna blow teams out every week just because we’ve been doing it doesn’t mean we’re gonna do it every week. This could be a close game. |

The first playoff team (#6 seed) since the trade deadline
Jason Kidd said he would bring Christian Wood off the bench when the trade was made in the summer. He kept to his word. After looking at those bone-headed highlights, I see why. Eager to see what Kyrie looks like with them. I saw they scored over 140 points the other night. That’s a lot of offense to try to slow down.
