If past trend holds true, Russ will be a scrub buried on clippers bench until they play lakers, then he will go for 35/10/10 in 25 mins.

I’m guessing he will be just fine on the clips.

Different role and expectations. Likely comes off the bench for about 20mins per game.

He will rack up the assists with the 3pt shooters the clips have. Likely never closes a game or put into critical situations. And can be benched the moment he starts playing out of control or making bad decisions. And on a minimum contract instead of $46m per.

Unfortunately I can see him thriving and providing a spark off the bench for the clips in the playoffs. Could make the difference over four series.

We will see.

It could be a disaster of epic proportions or something that will boost them in the playoffs. There is no in between.

Westbrook is one of those ideas that sounds really good from a distance. In this case, his highlights. And his off-court personality.

But watching him play every game you see the flaws. You see the decisions and how they affect game flow and momentum. You see the effort and talent gets overshadowed by poor attitude and out of control play, usually at the worst possible moment.

Maybe with the short season left and them only paying him a minimum contract, clip fans will be less critical before he wears out his welcome.

lols. Just mine through the threads. he will hurt them. Props to PG for lobbying for him though. Kept him in LA with family.

There is no reason we shouldn't beat the clips now if we meet in the postseason.

Brodie will be an asset to the Sail Boat Crew. He's a spurt player who will bring energy. On the Clippers, he won't have heavy duties. He's played with PG13 in the past so there are some familiarities. I believe Ty will use him in ways to enhance the team's chances to get the W. When we play them for the last time he'll be one of the reasons we lose to them AGAIN!

Great move. He is going to hurt them a lot especially in the PO. When teams start to play defense he is big big problem.

They don't need him to do much. But doubt he will accept that and will end up being buried on the bench. That team chemistry is going to be a challenge for Lue. If he gets this team to win, he deserves coach of the year. Just glad he is off the Lakers. Was such a poor fit.

This is what will happen in the playoffs for Clippers and Westbrook will brick those wide open 3s. Lakers should have remembered that Houston playoffs series before trading for Westbrook.
