5 1sts.

Quote:
Gobert hurt his back in a victory over Spurs on Saturday, and nearly didn’t play today. He was sore, believed he was fighting through the discomfort and referred to those limitations with his back when arguing with Anderson, sources told ESPN’s @ZachLowe_NBA on Sunday night.

Not a good sign when conversation specifics are leaking left and right.

Wolves and Clippers have chemistry issues with players physically attacking each other on the bench. Seems like a bad sign for those teams moving forward.

Sources: After bench incident, Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert and Kyle Anderson had a heated verbal exchange in halftime locker room as well, with Anderson challenging the center at one point saying, "I'll knock your a-- out."

If you watch that clip, Gobert punked out on that punch too...
he hit Anderson and then took 2 really quick and big steps back so he was out of range, and so teammates & coaches could get between them.
kind of a punk ass move to sucker punch Anderson and then run.

You could see Taurean Prince get up and push Gobert too.

Not sure how TWolves management can expect things to be cool in 2 days for everyone on the team.

We better win on Tuesday. We desperately need the rest. I'd be kind of glad to be in the GSW bracket instead of the Denver/Clippers/Phx bracket. Godsend to just play one of them.

I can't see us really faltering in a GSW/Sac/Memphis bracket.

Pretty interesting that we'll have DLo, Beasley, and Vando with the revenge game angle. Usually, we get caught on the other side of the revenge games

Man, the Suns/Clipps are the 4/5 seeds, but Vegas does not believe the Clipps to have a prayer of winning that series. Check out the odds. Wow.

Booker repulses me, however I’ll sleep much better once the Clipps are toast.

Also 2 games back from the 4th seed. We're clearly a 4th seed with just the smallest of adjustments (despite the chaos of the season).

2 star model (Lebron/AD) in 2023-24 = no playoffs, again.

😉

AD trade now looks like:

Ball (may never play again)
Ingram (what a stud)
Hart (solid)
De'Andre Hunter
Isiah Jackson (I think)
2024 or 2025 FRP

Scrolling around reading about all the other teams today I forgot that if we were six and higher, we'd have a week off. That's kind of a bummer. But at least we aren't beating up on each other like the T-Wolves.

So question; do we have to win one or two games in our play-in?

1. If we lose, we get another chance at the winner on 9/10

If we win Tuesday we are the 7 seed and will play Memphis in Round 1. If we lose Tuesday, we play the winner of NOP/OKC for the 8th.

If Lebron plays like a dead man walking the the game is a coin flip.

It was basically AD for BI. Their lotto picks are struggling.

Can't believe they picked Hunter instead of Garland.
