The trade has been an absolute steal from day one.

It was basically AD for BI. Their lotto picks are struggling.

Can't believe they picked Hunter instead of Garland.

They didn't even pick hunter. They traded hunter(#4 pick) for 8,17 and 35.

They picked Hayes with 8th pick, nick Alexander walker with 17th and some euro kid with 35th

They didn’t even pick Hunter. Hunter was who the Hawks wanted. The Pelicans targeted Jaxson Hayes and offloading the salary of Solomon Hill with the move for the Lakers pick.

It really went

BI - played less games than AD has since the trade
Ball - hurt, missed ton of time, left for Chicago
Hart - bounced team to team (been on 2 teams since then)
Hayes - firmly on the bench and used as a cheerleader
No pick swap
24 or 25 😂

Yeah I’ll take AD over all that. Especially if you give him a big next to him and let him take his defensive dominance higher as a 4

1. If we lose, we get another chance at the winner on 9/10

If we win Tuesday we are the 7 seed and will play Memphis in Round 1. If we lose Tuesday, we play the winner of NOP/OKC for the 8th.

OH right! That's right. Ok cool well hopefully we kill it on the first at bat.

Thank y'all

Gotta beat this dysfunctional Wolves team after Jaden McDaniels fractures his own hand and Gobert trying to punch his own teammate.

Been horrible last 3 games. Playing wenyen with no shot blocking over mamba is a crime

The defensive intensity will have to be turned up several notches.

Ham won’t do it, hasn’t seen Mo play enough where as Wenyen has his trust

In a series after a loss he might do it, but he tends to ride lineups until they fail

Also 2 games back from the 4th seed. We're clearly a 4th seed with just the smallest of adjustments (despite the chaos of the season).
41-29 translates to about 48 wins out 82 games, which would've put us at the 3rd seed.

Since the trade we've been the best in the west, but do we have a chance against a top 3 east team?

See what I mean?

People keep relitigating the AD trade and if anyone dares to retort... they start whining... "Oh my God, why do you keep bringing up old news?"

Every f*cking week people have to say something... and then they act like victims if you simply point out facts.

I am rooting for AD and LBJ to take us deep...

I am hoping LBJ is done with the Kyrie idea and we start to build for the future again.

I hope AD stays healthy and the trade overpay becomes a distant memory.

But as long as you guys bring it up. I will happily put in my own two cents.

We could have had him the following year and kept most of those assets.

You can say it wouldn't have happened, but after all the sh*t AD has handled in LA, I think he's proven that this was always where he wanted to be.

I read a tweet where someone quoted AD saying the Lakers had to fix their defensive communication and that they haven't had a practice in a while.

That's big if true. Hopefully they get a practice in tomorrow.

For future reference, you don’t have to make a new paragraph after every new sentence. It hurts the eyes to look at this.

Hopefully we get that top defense from the trade deadline and not…whatever the hell the defense has been playing the last 4 games.

Team was just gassed and Lebron has no stamina after being out for a month. Hopefully we can survive Minnesota and get energy back with 5 days of rest.

We won the chip.

You make that trade 100 out of 100 times if that's the result.

Been a long standing rule in pro sports...the team that gets the best player wins the trade no matter how many players and picks are exchanged.

We got AD and locked him up. We got the chip with chances for more. We won the trade.

If you need to see a failed trade AND overpay, go look at the mess the Wolves are in right now.

And you can space your comments on this topic as much as you want...making them easier to read doesn't make them any more valid.

Well they’re gonna need to play with actual fuel this time. Can’t play defense like that to beat this Wolves team even with their toxicity going on.

It's just hilarious watching the same people state like absolute fact the trade was genius when BI was the one who scored 42 and AD scored 16 today

Garland is the starting point guard on a 51 win team.

Hart is the best rebounding guard in the league on a playoff team

And who knows, maybe Lonzo will one day heal.
