What his upside potential? Corey Brewer or Gerald Green?
That depends on his three point shot or if he ever gets one.
If he doesn't he'll have to rely heavily on his slashing and finishing at the basket and his athleticism, and I don't think he's strong enough yet to do that against NBA bodies, nor clever enough to always get his shot over them to compensate for it. Not yet anyway but we'll see.
Hard to put an upside on him so far. If he had Gerald Green's athleticism it'd be easier for him for sure.
The upside I'd LIKE for him would be Eddie Jones, but I think that's putting too much on him right now. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

How are people feeling about Lewis after two SL games?
He doesnt have high basketball IQ. He makes terrible decisions on the court
Yeah I was high on him as a draft pick, knowing that he was raw but I am beginning to have the same concerns that his processing and feel for the game hasn’t really improved.

This youtube reel reminds me of his upside. At this 1:40 mark, he has shaking and baking and pulls up for a jumper. We haven't seen much mid-range creations in the NBA. He has a tendency to just try and go all the way to the rack so far. I'd like to see more shot creation in the NBA.

Lol, that’s actually not a bad comp, both with regular contracts so fingers crossed, 3&D _________________ “The main goal for the Lakers is to win a championship. All I care about, all we care about, is to raise another banner in the rafters.“
Seems to be a little in his head right now. Doesn't have much confidence in his jumper.
One thing is for sure, he looks the part of an NBA wing. _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' Whatever, pow, three. I love the Zen, though."
Do the Lakers save any money if they release this guy? Bc given his summer league performance he’d have to be on the bubble of keeping a spot
he got a $8m contract and they spent $4m to move up to get him. i think he's safe, lol
Is he related to Lebron?... What's the Lakers doing giving him that type of money.
I see the potential, kid is a gazelle and lengky. He’s a homeless down on his luck bankrupt Scottie Pippen, for now _________________ “The main goal for the Lakers is to win a championship. All I care about, all we care about, is to raise another banner in the rafters.“
I think he will look better playing with NBA talent. He’s trying to do a little too much and the game is still moving too fast for him. Also, at some point he’s gonna have to learn to go in hard and try to dunk everything cuz those soft finger rolls ain’t it.
Still really high on him though. I picture him in more of a 3&D roll but he has a lot of promising skills to be more than that. Glad we have him locked up 3 more years. _________________ “Cuban would never”
They spent all last season hating JHS who was playing well in the G-League, and praising Maxwell Lewis who showed in the G-League that he still needed work.

Lewis is the definition of raw. You knew he was a project when you drafted him so it's too early to come to conclusions. JHS has been a disappointment for what he was scouted to be and he wasn't a high end prospect in the first place. Nobody really cares about the G League unless it translates in the NBA. There's no reason a 40th pick should have the same expectations as the 17th and there's also not 3 immediate rotation players selected right after Lewis to harp over. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points."
