I don't know if you're being sarcastic with that comment.

You think we have gotten much better?

We didn’t but there’s no way we’re ever getting Turner (if that’s what you meant by Myles)

We might be slightly better now…if we retain everyone else.

They tried....

But the Heat’s initial offer to Vincent did not meet his expectations, according to a league source. The Heat offered a three-year deal worth about $25 million, which included a starting salary of about $7.7 million.

They're already in the luxury tax, thats why they had so many undrafted players getting big minutes last year

Great pickup, but our front court depth is more of a concern going into next season than it was last season. Hopefully they can still pick up a couple of quality bigs.

They decided not to go more than 3/24 , because of their tax situation

I love this move.
He takes a couple more threes a game than Shcroeder.. and they're often contested.
I like a little more size at that spot.
He's young and showed well in playoffs....

Win win win.

3 years $33 million. I'm not sure how much I like that price tag. What does this mean for the DLo?

I like the idea of getting Vincent, but I want him to improve his 3-point shooting percentage. He was at just 33.4 percent in the regular season, and that won't get it done.

But he shot 37.8 percent from downtown in the playoffs, and he's a great free throw shooter, so maybe he'll improve his 3-point shooting with us.

I wonder if $33 million over three years is too much for him though.

This is a fantastic pickup, tough defender and 2 way player.

Good 3 pt shooter and can create plays for others, great floater also.

I am very very excited about this signing, let's (bleep) GO!

Below average 3pt shooter (33%) and bad overall shooting (40%). Poor playmaker. Be excited for potential but be true. Tell the truth.

I'm just OK with this signing, I like the comments from his former coach regarding intangibles, but 6'2" and 33% from 3 is a combination that bugs me a bit. I'll have to wait and see. 3yrs $33M seems a tad steep on first impression.

I'll still cheer for him to prove me wrong on that. Welcome to the Lakers Gabe.

Hard to believe you and I are among so few that actually would tell the truth about this signing. If we got him for 6m or so then we just have to say ok. But for 11m? Not looking good. Prince is in the same boat. Vincent not better than Shro, Prince not better than TBjr…and Cam? Why?

That’s a slight overpay at 7.7m but realistic to keep their guy. The Lakers’ 11m cost looks like bad money.

How the hell did this happen?

I know his regular stats were okay but wasn’t he a like a borderline star in the playoffs?

And he is a point guard too

Agree. Have to hope that the magical run by Jimmy and the nobodies wasn’t magic but rather a showcase

Im kind of the same. I understand the move looking for someone that plays hard defense but i dont think he better than Shro on D. However he suppose to be the spot up 3ptr.

However i think the perfect fit would have been Javon Carter..better shooter and can defend...polar opposite than Shro on offense side.

I would have been at his house at 3:00pm than Vincent but oh well.

I see it as an actual downgrade so far. Shro > Vincent and TBjr > Prince. Especially since we lost the chemistry and continuity.

Rob needs a rabbit out the hat surprise at this point to have a better looking team.
