This dude may be the lifesavor we expect Vanderbilt to be. Plus, a quick twichy POA defender who also has balls unlike Vanderbilt who was clearly scared of the moment last year.

So far his trajectory is what you'd expect of a player coming off a lot of time out. Their offense is lagging behind their defense. But he has made some big shots tonight. Looking like the guy we saw in the playoffs last season.

We aren't reliant on his offense right now but his defense is nice, and his rebounding is helpful. Nice to see a guy box out his man, even away from the basket or on switches.

He wasn't get treatment or a massage. Just sitting normally on the bench next to Reddish.

It would be interesting to see how Ham is going to use Gabe vs Denver. He would be our best defensive guard against Murray, but before tonight he couldn't buy a 3. It is tough to play 3 guards vs Denver's size. Maybe for a minute or two when Jokic is on the bench Jokic will demolish any weakness.

Use him like Bruce Brown was used. Tell him take Braun out the series and Spencer to take Jackson out. If they score fine, but if they don’t you win. Same goes for Prince and Watson. It’s a different world compared to having Bruce Brown and Jeff Green

He can be ADs friend because you see AD come help him and challenge, and you see him immediately put a body on ADs guy over letting him get an auto rebound and put backs Reaves and Dlo haven’t did that all year

He should play every minute Joker is on the bench when Murray is leading those 2nd units. Shut off the water during those Murray only minutes.

For those wondering why lakers signed him. He was very good defensively and made some shots. He’s by far our best defensive guard which can be big.

Not his fault he was hurt. This team defensively lost a lot without him and Vando. Not everything is offense.

Doubt it. Murray loves to just jump up for a contested shot (always make then against us)

I think he will do better than DLO and AR for sure...

We have a good chance, If Gabe can give us a consistent 8-10ppg off the bench along with DLO playing his average. But that's assuming no one else have a bad series.

He was good for MIA in the playoffs, might be one of those guys who steps his game up under pressure.

Smart to see Ham reward him with mins also.

He was all over the place on defense. Just make a shot or 2 per game and he will help a lot

i was very pleasantly surprised with his play after such a long time off the court. He can be huge in the Denver series. Hopefully him and Spencer can slow down Murray who turns into prime Curry when he players Lakers*

*he's a phenomenal player and I'm not trying to imply he sucks. He just elevates his already incredible game v. Lakers.
