I think Schroeder is probably gone with this move.
DLO to me doesn't have a market outside of the Lakers so I would not overpay him. Offer 2 years at $10 million per with a player option on the 2nd year and let him outplay his contract if he can. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny

Gabe Vincent averaged 12.3 PPG, 3.5 APG & 1.9 RPG in 30 games as a playoffs starter + 38% from 3 while hounding opposing PGs on D. Miami went 20-11, making the ECF & NBA Finals. Gabe got his 💰. Lakers got a good one. Undrafted to established, well-deserved for Nnamdi.

Replaces DS POA defense? Probably
3-point shot? Better than DS, yes
Off-ball shooter? Yes, DS isn't
Overall defense? Perhaps similar to DS, but not sure.
Dawg? Yes, but DS is heckuva feistry too
Playmaking compared to DS? Not sure, but Ham does and presumably OK'ed the signing
