Glad to have him back. Hopefully he gets healthy come playoff time. We could always use a dog that plays perimeter D. |

Normally, I'd be excited that we'd be getting our top free agent signing of the summer back on the roster. But I just don't trust darvin to integrate him properly back into the rotation. I can easily see him messing a lot with DLO's role and groove within the offense right now and give gabe more control at the 1 simply because he slides his feet better at defense. I hope i'm wrong though _________________ He's my GOAT |

^^^ Gabe is a guard tho. Ham would put six guards on the floor simultaneously if could. Gabe will get minutes if he is healthy. |

Not sure how him coming back affects the subs, but happy to have him back nonetheless. Was hoping to be familiar with him and his game by now, but I feel like I don't really even know who he is |

It permanently gets rid of Reddish's minutes. If he and Dinwiddie play well together and Vando comes back first week of April which they were planning.
Bench unit should be
Gabe Vincent
Spencer Dinwiddie
Taurean Prince
Jarred Vanderbilt
Jaxson Hayes
So no more Reddish. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Another option (especially considering the up and down games of some of our guards). |

Even if he does come back, he has to get into game shape.
It's going to take him some time to get into the groove of things. |

Yes I think that's why the last few posts particularly that last post I made in the injury thread from LeBron has been so waffly about him. I think they are trying to temper expectations. Which probably won't work lol _________________ #Welp |

There is also the question as to whether they gave the luxury kf letting him work his way in all that quickly with game action when wins and misses are so critical and they already have several good options playing well. _________________ Los Angeles Lakers Leadership: Jeanie Buss, Robert Pelinka, Kurt Rambis, LeBron James, Rich Paul. |

Really like his defense
I saw him guarding bigger guys and one time got posted up in by a bigger guy. But he keeps his man in front of him and low center of gravity and when the shoot went up he kept his hands vertical so no foul.
It’s textbook defense and he plays it perfectly Hope he stays healthy because he can really make a difference |

For a small guy he has a lot fight on the defensive end. Just need the shots to fall for him. |

His defense and boxing out is a difference maker. If his offense comes around he's a definite net positive. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

It’s a reach to spin positivity toward Vincent so far. Defense has to be elite with another contribution such as assists or steals to make up for consistently scoring bagels 0ppg as he has for the last 3 games in a row. He has averaged 1ppg over his last 5. I hope it changes but it’s a waste so far. _________________ “When it looks as if it is a realistic possibility, I want to focus on winning a ship like it’s a goal that can’t be denied. You have video of Gabe boxing out. He reminds me of Fat Lever, when he’s boxing out. |

His shot isn't there at the moment. But I really liked his defense at times in the last game. |

The regular season was always going to be a wash for him regardless, the time he's had is all about getting fit and back into the team. We will need him and Spencer to contribute, but it's not the end of the world if he can't yet and it's unfair to have expected him to be the catalyst to a late elevation up the standings. _________________ "I got Wheaties!" |

Yep, agree. I also disagree with putting a positive spin so far. I went a bit far saying “waste”, it too early to tell but it was a response to several positive spins in a row. The best case realism so far is “wait and see” because it’s too early to say bad and too bad to say anything good. _________________ “When it looks as if it is a realistic possibility, I want to focus on winning a ship like it’s a goal that can’t be denied.
