I may be in the minority, but I think Jax is doing a very good job at center right now. Obviously, we lack depth, and he's not a 48-min a night player but I've been impressed with his 25 - 35 min games. Looks comfortable on defense, effort is always there, and as a lob threat he's as good as we have had here in years.
No you're not in the minority at all, Hayes is doing just fine and this is the first long stretch where he's playing clearly better than he has in prior years. Definite uptick for him, great for him and the Lakers.
(Better = less foul prone, better positioning, confident movement)
Might play his way into an MLE candidate with Luka and Bron spoon feeding him. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points."

He better think about re-signing with us if the anticipation of offense is obviously going up, but he still needs to be technical about his defense & footwork on defense not even mentioning his reaching correctly straight up!
That’s his downfall clumsiness! He needs to work on his footwork defensively to even be considered for us to bring him back. A lot of times he’s in great position but moves his arms towards the shot & arms of shooters instead of not fouling. He gets his blocks off ball, from behind or side.
In year what 6? If he hasn’t been taught or learned this by now chances are he won’t & wonder how much technique training he does? With this current lineup he should be getting 25 minutes, 12 pts, 10 rebounds, 2 blk per game easy? _________________ My Laker squad.

feels like fans don't appreciate this dudes growth and progress enough
What is his injury update
I didn't even get to see the play..only saw him holding his face on the ground in pain. _________________ If we don't make it dangerous to be a Nazi

Man, we love him and we see it but u think we don’t need a 2nd big (be it Len) to roll into the playoff? _________________ “The main goal for the Lakers is to win a championship. All I care about, all we care about, is to raise another banner in the rafters.“

In a way we got our pick from the AD trade back. New Orleans traded #4 (Garland) to get #8 (Hayes). _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

We do yes and probably not a giant big ..
I just felt like if it were most any of the other players people would be concerned about their injury and want to know if they're ok etc
I've been allowing life to make me grumpy lately..
We good man, it’s just our expectations is thru the roof right now (Luka trade hangover and everything). Jaxson has been doing excellent and he’s gonna get the bag from us this summer, he’s clicking with Luka _________________ “The main goal for the Lakers is to win a championship. Kind of weird we haven't received any updates on his facial contusion. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.
Len has looked bad for years. I was pissed we signed him since we have so few moves we can make and Rob wasted one signing Len. Better to have just rolled with the two ways and hope for another buy out or other path to a big man via the Euro or G League.

You were against this signing from the get go and you maybe right. He looked awful. I'll give him some slack since it was his first game...but 2-3 more games like that and he should be dumped. I wanted Bamba. Rob did leave enough $ for another signing just in case so let's see what happens.

Can we sign another guy (say, Bamba) and then cut Len and promote a 2-way guy at the end of the season (say, Koloko or Goodwin)?
