I saw one of his stints and came away with the same impression. Just looks like he doesn't really like basketball. He missed a 3 which is his appeal and then he was getting successfully targeted on the other end. A rebound bounced right over his head. I was intrigued when the Lakers first got him but it didn't take long to see why he's not a contributor.

It bothered me for the longest time that we didn't give Bomba a chance to play along side AD. Realizing that Ham must have been very unimpressed was my only speculative guess.

I now understand.

I am not impressed by this guy’s carefree, goofy attitude on the court. He does not seem to be taking things seriously.

Feeling you my brother after watching Jaxson blow a gimme layup costing AR one the wildest assists in recent memory.

We just need a bulkier no nonsense big but guessing we wait to see what scraps could be had for the 15th roster spot during the buyout period.

But Hayes is practically useless in the ESPN trade machine. An overpaid Bamba would have been much more helpful.

That depends on how many picks you are comfortable dealing.

Exactly…the guy has been playing well. What an idiotic comment.

He had a few highlight blocks and dunks last night… definitely will be a high impact and energy player. Not as much with the 3rd team but that’s as expected with many players.

2 gamea in a row opposite teams closes out on us with their main rotational players. While we play the whole 4th pretty much with rookies/g-league team.

It would have cost Vincent to do that. We would end up with a 10 mill per year discarded player and a tpMLE player. At best it's likely a lateral move.

Depending on the contracts, we could be in quite a bind for the 2nd apron tax next year.

This is so freaking ridiculous on many levels that you both should be embarrassed, Hayes has been fantastic so far for the most part in the preseason, cutting, passing, running playing defense doing his best to protect the rim, he’s only 23 with tremendous potential to still untapp If he was so goofy he wouldn’t have posterized Lopez like a rag doll

I told you guys this guy plays with a lot of energy. He sets picks, looks for the open man and roles hard. His play will be valued by his D, energy, ability to run the floor and move his feet. Great signing!

Isn’t he perfect from the free throw line this pre-season? It’s so refreshing, ngl.

No only shooting like 58%...

But he is 82% from the field.

I tend to try to avoid being as critical of different opinions as IG ^^^, but I’m definitely leaning toward Hayes!!! The Wood/Hayes over MoBa/Weny looks to be a decent move. I have been one of the biggest proponents to bring MoBa back for vet min too. Season it long tho, we’ll see how it plays out.

This is why the first guy I wanted when the Lakers were looking for a big was McGee yeah he’s already old but he gives good minutes when he’s on the floor with his low post offense and energy, we needed someone to give AD some time on the bench, the Hayes signing was idiotic because we are pushing for a title this year

Just don't have any skills except athleticism. Nothing against him, seems like likeable person inside the team but just skills are not there.
