Getting non-shooting Derek Fisher vibes from JHS.

Plays much smaller than his height and size.

Fisher never, ever. EVER attacked the basket and finished like JHS did today.

JHS and Lewis look like they can get some PT too, but not as good as MaxC

Castle hasn't been bad on offense, but his D and rebounding probably make him G-league

Swider is a no-D shooter, who isn't all that great a shooter

The rest of them are G-league at best

Castle had 4 blocks. His defense hasn’t been the problem. Mostly lack of strength is what might keep him in G-League though.

Lewis though did not nothing this game so hopefully he shows out in the next one.

Castle plays "area defense" - his blocks are kind of because he's just there...
1-1 defense was pretty bad. he's often out of position and his guys just going by him

I believe new CBA allows 3 two-way players now.

He's too raw. He's diagramming moves before making them, which is resulting in travels and missteps. He'll see lots of g-league time.

He does seem to be afraid of contact. Not sure if that can be worked on or not but its his biggest area of improvement next to his 3 pt shooting

Side note: Keyonte George is looking super good out there for Utah. We were ONE pick away. Ugh that one is going to be personally painful for me as he was my top choice

But besides keyonte i am interested to see how cam whitmore looks out there in vegas bc that is what will hurt Laker fans the most if fino doesnt materialize

Fish wasn’t the shooter he was when he first got to the nba. It wasn’t until he hurt his foot and spent the entire time he was out practicing his 3, and came out like a flamethrower during our 15-1 repeat run, that he became a legit three point shooter. JHS has showed more scoring ability and a better mid-range shot than Fish did his rookie season.

A tick in Fish’s favor is that he looked quicker laterally than JHS has so far, and wasn’t as prone to getting blown by as much as JHS has thus far in SL.

I don’t get the fisher and fino comparison by the OP. But I agree with you.

Fishers career is done and in his 18 years he never drove to the rim like Fino has shown. So that we can say with certainty.

I don’t get predicting that Fino won’t ever be able to shoot like Fish when his career hasn’t even started.

Fisher shot 30% his rookie year at 22... Got better the following 2 seasons. But Fisher seems to have some up and down seasons shooting from behind the Arc through out his career.

I can't think of a more dramatic or rapid transformation than DFish pulled off from 3.

I will never forget Duncan and the entire bench's look of utter disbelief and a vacant stare into oblivion courtesy of DFish Bombs.

Fudge flashed a little potential in a limited role. He'll get to "cut his teeth" with the South Bay Lakers.

The greater concern with him is his low energy effort, yuck. Dude is 6'7" - 6'8" and can only muster 1 rebound, zero assists, blocks, and steals in 20 mins.

This Heat/Kings game is pathetic so far. How long have these folks been running around to have a 0-4 score?!?!?!?!?

I guess that's why he dropped to #40.
He needs to bulk up some too.

Seriously, iirc Fish shot a ridiculous 70+ percent from 3 against the Spurs when we were sweeping them. Just insane how improved he was from distance after that injury downtime.

Good team effort tonight. I'm glad that the team played much better. San Antonio has a really good squad.
