Was very looking forward to see how he does under JJ Redick, but now I hope he's outta here asap. waste of roster spot. |

His leg fell off. To bad. I really thought he would benefit from having JJ instead of Ham. |

He would. fortunately they found an issue with his knee that was under the surface and had they not found he could have hurt himself worse during the season and been out even longer.
Takes him some time to get back, but it's better than if it was never found and something horrible happened. Wouldn't you agree? _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Still no updates on him..plus side he's been on the bench watching games. I actually thought he would come back before Vando. |

Remember when he was Baby AD? LOL! That's why we traded AD, we still got one more. LOL! |

Giving up, trade him (Wood) with Vincent to Utah for Schroeder, add a swap and remove the protection from the other one to entice Ainge to buy into Vincent fitting better into their time table. With Luka potentially keeping the Lakers competitive for years…and Utah’s perpetual struggles….it’s possible that the swap/protection wouldn’t hurt. Vincent has been improving, but Schroeder adds a ball handler, a much better playmaker, better drives to the hoop, maintains defensive POA, and provides more reliable 3pt shooting. _________________ When it’s a reasonable possibility, I expect the Lakers to go after a ship like it can’t be denied. I haven’t seen a respectable effort by the Front Office for the last two off seasons nor the last trade deadline. What is going on? |

Vincent is a better shooter and defender than Dennis. We don't need playmaking/on-ball players with Luka/LBJ/AR. We need guys that can spot up and defend. |

Yup, Gabe is filling a critical role now with Christie's departure. |

Agreeing to trade Cam over Wood in the Williams trade is interesting to me. Cam fills a need on this team with his above average POA defense. Wood is just currently taking a roster spot. _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' Yep. Something happened recently with this team and he has been a huge part of it
Greco wrestling defense at times on no matter who he had to switch to
It would have to be a glue guy with his skills and toughness
Getting a little nervous about messing with chemistry much more. _________________ If we don't make it dangerous to be a Nazi

I assume the Hornets didn't have a preference either way. A VM guy had to be included, although it is a slight money difference (probably like 250K at this point) _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' Thank you. I'm thinking they must have asked. I think JJ and him are close in their Duke brotherhood
I liked Cam being available if necessary also _________________ If we don't make it dangerous to be a Nazi

That seemed to be an obvious "he's about to get traded move"
My point is playable depth is important. I love Wood, was his biggest fan on here when he signed, but he hasn't been available. _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' My best guess (wholly speculative) is that if Wood is not traded and still not ready to go by the end of the season, he'll be waived and Koloko/Jemison will get his spot. They can even let the 1st round matchup dictate that decision, whether it makes to have another bulky or wiry big. I think in the playoffs they'll both come in more handy than Reddish will. Ultimately though, if we have to play any of them in meaningful minutes it's a bad sign. _________________ Luxury Tax/FA Spreadsheet (Save to your Google Drive to edit) |

I don't know man, we already have an offensively inept plus defender with Vando back, so I'm guessing Cam was the odd man out. Too bad he couldn't live up to his potential. |

Reddish was decent Vando insurance for when Vando inevitably gets hurt again tho |
