Davis may be a blessing for Wood. He gets to see how to improve defensively first hand from one of the best defensive big men in the league.

Wood may end up being the 4th or 5th most impactful Laker this season. He’ll have an offensive explosion for a few games too! His defense and rebounding is huge tho and the main benefit!!!

I think for AD there's nothing more demoralizing than him doing the hard work of primary rim protection and finding out no one is there to grab the rebound, especially during the regular season where LeBron's focus on the boards wanes and waxes. Wood is such a godsend for this.

C Wood needs more PT. When we signed him I saw a player able to take some pressure off of AD. He's a good 3pt and midrange shooter who can also defend and rebound. After watching the game last night I came to the conclusion we need to stop the small ball and go Twin Towers BIG. Looking forward to the starting lineup against Orlando. I think Darvin is a good coach but I've always been critical of his lineups and rotations.

Ham has to start putting more trust in him to get AD/LeBron minutes down. he should be seeing 26+ minutes a night.

So many people here didn't want Wood.

Probably the same people who didn't want Rondo or Dwight.

It's crazy how they wanted Biyombo over him.

You always take the talent unless they did something unforgivable.

Look at Wood's career stats when he gets minutes his production increases. He's been on 8 teams and when given PT he's played well. Christian is the definition of a consummate journeyman. Ham has to give him more PT. LINK

Last night showed us a lot. C Woods should be getting close to starters minutes. It's gonna be a good problem when we have all our guys back. This may even open up a trade for us down the road. His effort and performance have been impressive.

I agree with some of the others have said here... we need to be playing big more often.

DLo/Vincent
AR/Prince
LBJ/Vando
Wood/Rui
AD/Hayes

Always nice to put together lineup charts during these exciting times and imagine them in their best forms!

The 3 big lineup Wood, Hayes and AD was a +109. I know that’s not sustainable….but the Clips couldn’t get anything inside. And those 3 are athletic enough to challenge all shots. I’d love to see more of this when Bron rests.

If AD shows consistent 3 ball ability, it may just work. Teams will dare him to shoot though.

I also agree with this starting lineup. AD, Wood and LBJ need to be the 1st unit; I don't care who LBJ has to guard on defense.

If an improvement over DLO appears during the season, I could go for that. or a crazy shooter, regardless of position, like Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, etc.

Yeah - that was actually really fun to watch. Need two shooters around them though. Price would be nice to have as one of them - the D would be pretty damn solid there. Vincent or DLO for some shooting.

Hays is going to be benched soon. He hasn't shown anything

I love CW's boards per minute. Getting close to 8 boards in only 21 minutes, as well as his help defense blocks. Amazing value at the minimum.

Benched?
He is barely playing. People don't realize we are 13 man deep.

Wood has a good chance at 6MOY if he stays in his current role.

L +2
W +23
L +12

I kinda like the AD-Wood front court, can’t wait to throw Vando with them. Bron can run point and d up the worst offensive player on the other team. Reaves/DLo as the floor spreader/back up point
