What I see is JHS is instinctively looking to pass the ball even when he's wide open from mid or off the screen. He needs to get to the point at this level where when he's open he takes that shot and makes the defense pay.

It's why the team has been talking about him asserting himself more, because right now he's too passive trying to get everyone involved instead of finding the balance between when to attack and when to pass. That is something that comes with experience at NBA speed.

He was the one player at draft time that I just saw nothing special in and I never really even gave thought to he'd end up a Laker. I'm just an internet GM so wtf do I know but JHS looks miles away from being an NBA player and he doesn't have the single and/or physical attribute to compensate for the rawness.
