Not important to win. More important to get the rotations looking smooth. Questions: Can Rui continue to be consistent? Can Prince really rebound like a 'normal' small forward. Will the defense jell for the second unit? I'm also looking for how Hayes maintains his energy and whether the backcourt has enough defending presence? Fun so far. I actually love Russel's 'old-man-game.' |

I was just joking. Preseason is BS for veteran teams.
One team plays their starters at home to entertain crowd while the road team usually puts out the B squad. We have been going back and forth with GS for a couple of seasons.
This is why our preseason record in the Russ era was so bad. If you can’t win 1 (bleep) preseason game with AD/Lebron/Reaves all playing then your roster really sucks. Thank god that era is over. |

LeBron James will play tonight against the Warriors. It will be his second preseason game out of four for LAL. The plan remains for him to play in half of the six-game exhibition slate - likely sitting out vs. MIL and playing in the finale vs. PHX

I'm with Mychel Thompson - I want Klay to play well and the Lakers to win. In fact Klay (and Steph) can tap out in the third-quarter just to be safe. Lol

Not really Lakers related, but I'm watching SAS vs Mia before the Lakers come on.
man, Wemby is really something. The league hasn't seen a rookie like this since maybe KD or LBJ - if then. If he can stay healthy, he's gonna be scary in a few years.

Wembanyama is gonna be a handful. He has guard handles, quick feet, a smooth jumper and blocks shots. He's a complete player.
