Crazy that we have a good chance to go 6-1, finish 14 games above .500 and that still might be 9th in the West. That's 5th in the East, and would've been good for 3rd in the West last season.

Well so much for the Kings losing tonight's game. I mean I guess anything can happen but

Statistics say we're gonna finish 9th. Even though Lakers fans love to have dreams about 8th or 6th finish but it ain't gonna happen. We literally haven't moved from 9th all season. It's weird how statistics work.

Jazz no Lauri and Clarkson tonight… They only have 1-2 easy games left after tonight.

They play Clippers/Knicks/Celtics next 3 games. I can see the Celtics mailing that game in to mess with us. Same with the Clippers.

They also play the Suns and Thunder.

We could also finish 10th if the Warriors end up winning in the match up on April 9

lol! Statistics DO NOT say that, what you said they said. You made that up for kicks and giggles 🤣

Much weirder than how they work is how people use them. 🤣…again!

Only thing I care about is we don't face Denver in the first round. That would literally be the biggest swing in championship odds. I think we will win the play-in games, even against the Kings...lol. It's Denver I'm most worried about.

I really love the current standing as it is right now. IDEALLY!
Kings beat Phoenix for 7th seed. Lakers beat GSW and then Phoenix for 8th seed.

OKC (1) vs Lakers (8)
Denver (2) vs Kings (7)

Without Monk it be hard for the Kings to beat any of those play-in teams.

I honestly wouldn’t mind Denver in round 1. Get Bron and AD at their healthiest. The team at its freshest. And catch them without momentum. I get the season record but that may be as good a time as any to punch them in the mouth . I think the conference finals and first round is the best time to catch them, and the second round sucks

Can we make the 2 a 3 and the 3 a 4 in the interest of competition?

Suns have too much fire power just to fall apart to close out the season. Pels are more prone to that due to Ingram being hurt.

If we want the sixth, we should root for nop to lose, if 7/8, then suns.
Suns and the kings have really tough schedules and they play each other once.

It's absolutely nuts that Steph, LeBron, AD , Boooker and KD are all in the play-in range.

I think Pelicans will join the Play-In fray pretty soon.

If the Lakers take care of business... that last game of the season against Pelicans may mean something.

hoping pels to be the 7th place than Kings. Lakers can beat them easier than the Kings and Mavs.

We need to get to 7 or 8 spot. If we are in 9/10, then it doesn't matter that they're in 7/8 because they're not going to win their match. Not without BI.

dang the only time BI has played 65+ games is his rookie year.... hes so talented but so injury prone and now its costing the pelicans, really needed them to beat the suns today, we woulda been the 8th seed smh

if New Orleans, PHX, Sacramento, suddenly find themselves with the same record, the Lakers could then theoretically leapfrog them all to the 6th spot. If they keep winning of course.

Pels just stink without BI. He's their MVP and so underrated in terms of his on-court gravity and playmaking. Love the dude but he can't stay healthy, unfortunately, and his team is sinking without him (like every year he's hurt).

It might come down to the last 2 games of each teams, we might have to rely on a couple teams for us to get there. Which might end up hurting us, if those teams decides to seat out players.

Our last game vs the Pels might come down to us possibly jumping a couple of seeds also.

But Lakers will have to take care of the next 5 games first. I think we can only afford 1 loss in that stretch.
