Pelicans beating the Nuggets last night. Love to see it!
I want Denver to run into Minny and/or New Orleans in the playoffs. I think either team could send them home.
Denver has no answers for Zion or Ingram. And McCullom didn't even play.
While matchups-wise this may be true, neither team has what it takes mentally/experience nor frankly the talent to beat a healthy Denver. Utah never had an answer for Shaq in the 90s, but when it came to winning time, they destroyed us. We never had answers for Webber/Bibby or Rasheed Wallace, but beat them when it counts.
Minny has a chance to be something special, but the Pels give me mad pretender vibes. Look at Zion's defense and tell me if they have a chance at all in the playoffs. They'll mercilessly hunt him on that end. This is assuming Ingram and Zion are even healthy enough to get there. _________________ Yi Jianlian Fanboy. Respect The Chair.

Pelicans are less proven in that matchup.
But Minny would've beat Denver last year if Naz and McDaniels weren't hurt. They are bigger than Denver.
Antman can dominate for late game stretches.
Naz is the best big man coming off the bench in the league.
McDaniels is an A++ wing defender. _________________ "knew I was fly when I was just a caterpillar."

Antman wasnt all the way there last year as we saw for ourselves. McDaniels can be an A++ defender all he wants, who is he stopping??? MPJ.....unlikely as that dude is purely money off the catch and shoot and rarely looks to go Iso. Jamal Murray???? Perhaps deter him a little but it doesnt matter how good of a long defender you are, Murray is very hard to stop as the Paul George and Kawhi Clippers found out in 2020

McDaniels just gave Tatum and Brown problems a week ago with his defense. MPJ would be light work.
And I think Antman can guard Murray.
Plus with Conley's 10:1 AST/TO ratio running their offense.
Maybe you are right. But I want to see Denver beat a healthy Minny this playoffs. _________________ "knew I was fly when I was just a caterpillar."
Milwaukee seems to have figured things out. Even with Dame not having an efficient game, the defensive attention he draws benefits everyone else. Giannis had a monster game.
More and more games are shootouts now. You have to be able to win games like those to be elite.
Do the Lakers even have a chance to win if they allow 125 points? I don't think so.

Beat the Clippers in a shootout 130-125…
Lakers are capable of doing both. The issue is they have not been consistent on both side of the ball to start the season.

Game went to overtime and the Lakers got abnormally great games from LeBron, AD, and D'Lo. D'Lo had 27 points.
They don't win the vast majority of those kinds of games.
True, but I see solutions on the horizon for defense when Vando and Gabe Vincent come back. Maybe the Lakers get need a bargain bin center. But that's it.
Offense has no solutions on the team currently, and it's going to hold the Lakers back unless they make moves.

I love how Beasley is shooting 46 % from three, quiite an upgrade on his short bricklaying stay in Lakerland.
Kevon Looney deserves a lot of credit for holding Sabonis down last postseason, because Sabonis looks really good right now.
Scoring and great play-making off the extra defensive attention looks pretty nice. The Kings aren't missing a beat on offense even with Fox off the floor.
I honestly wouldn't like how the Lakers match-up with the Kings. They fly up and down the court with De'Aaron Fox attacking surrounded by shooters. If Fox himself is shooting well, he becomes impossible to guard. Sabonis is good go-to guy in the half court.
These are the kind of teams that are going to be next to impossible to stop on a consistent basis.
Averaging about 16ppg with 44% from 3, 50% overall. Cam probably was the right move for SG defense and SF ability. Perhaps 2ndRd pick that became MaxL could have been sold to make room for both LW4/Cam. Oh well…that ship sailed lol! _________________ “When it looks as if it is a realistic possibility, I want to focus on winning a ship like it’s a goal that can’t be denied. I dislike the Kings matchup too. That said, their defense is bad. If the Lakers can't punish them on defense enough to outscore them, then their offense isn't good enough to win a ring. It's that simple honestly

He wasn’t even good during their fourth championship run. He’s a below average starting SG in the league now and has been living off past reputation for the last three seasons. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
