no more small guards. if their shots not falling, they're completely useless. whereas Cam Reddish and Prince can contribute other ways even they can't hit their threes. |

Is prince really contributing though? Hes not hitting his shot and his defense rating is not good this season (even reaves def rating is better..) |

Does Prince really? Although he's not really in competition with LW4 roster spot wise
Agree on Reddish. |

The Lakers three point shooting has gone up 4% recently and it's no accident that we've won 5 out of 6.
Prince is a 37% 3 point shooter. That's what he is. It's pointless to wonder after 14 games whether he can shoot... I'm glad to see someone who keeps shooting rather than becomes afraid to take their shot.
Reaves has raised his shot% after his early slump. He will also be fine.
Wood is also a 38% 3 point shooter. That's what he also is. No point in worrying about him either.
The pleasant surprise is Bron. I said a few years ago if he can fix his three point shot, that he can extend his career and his shot looks solid more than I've ever seen it while he's been a Laker.
And Vincent and Max also will come decent.
This team is a good shooting team from distance. It's no accident that we started winning again once the shots started falling.
When I worry is when we sign players who could never shoot threes and expect miracles.
This time we only signed Reddish and Vando who fit in that category but Reddish is a good free throw shooter, so I'm not shocked that he's able to improve somewhat.
Again, I think we are just below the top tier, but if Bron keeps playing the way he has, the role players just relax and believe in their shot... we will be right there with a chance at the end. |

Thanks, all the pieces are there... no need to make a panic trade at this point. |

Love to see it. AntMan and Lamelo are my favorite young guards in the league. We drafted the wrong Ball brother. _________________ "knew I was fly when I was just a caterpillar." |

BI just outscored the entire Kings team in the 3rd quarter. Kings have a defense problem. _________________ Yi Jianlian Fanboy. Respect The Chair.

Nahh Zo never had a chance to prove himself. It's like what KD said about Oden- in order to be a bust, you have to play and he never had the chance.
Look at Chicago's collapse w/out him. He unlocked them. Talk to any Bulls fan and they will tell you how much they needed Ball to contend. _________________ Yi Jianlian Fanboy. Respect The Chair.

They should tank next year for Cooper Flagg. |

They are no strangers to tanking. Wouldn't surprise me if they "load manage" Wemby to get him ready for next season. His game fell off a cliff after his first week and hit the rookie wall, but he also doesn't have much help on the team. _________________ Yi Jianlian Fanboy. Respect The Chair.

They are fraudulent to me which is why it’s frustrating dropping first 2 games to them this season lol. |

If not for injuries, Lonzo would be a perfect fit for our current team. His play elevated the Bulls and they haven't been the same since he got hurt.
I'd love to have a young defensive 6'7 guard that can shoot 40% from three on 7-8 a game and is also a great passer on our current team in addition to what we have.
That's just me though. I'd take a healthy Ball over Prince any day in our starting lineup. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

I like 'em both. But Lamelo is on another level. Did you see the highlights from the Boston game? Disgusting.

Yeah I agree. He was starting to put things together before his latest injury |

Yep. Mentioned it earlier, he's Jokic-lite. A good passing big is invaluable these days with the spacing and caliber of 3 point shooting throughout the league. _________________ KOBE |

And he's only 21! All that tanking we did and the one who looks like a star was drafted 16th.
He needs to work on his FT's though. |

Did Mikal get scouted? Everyone expected him to have some kind of monster season, but his numbers have dipped considerably. Being the primary focus of defenses night after night isn't quite easy, is it? _________________ Yi Jianlian Fanboy. Respect The Chair.

Dillon Brooks instead of James Harden was a great call. Rockets have a bright future _________________ “The main goal for the Lakers is to win a championship. All I care about, all we care about, is to raise another banner in the rafters.“ |
