Yeah that’s the big reason why I’m kinda bummed at where the Lakers mindset is right now, they are gonna have to raise there level to very high standards by the team the Season tips off on Tuesday, just because the Lakers are upset with how the Nuggets talked smack doesn’t mean crap

Lakers are gonna get owned on opening night, the lack of effort was very disappointing in this game especially since this was in preparation for the season opener

IG, relax. Did you know this is preseason? Did you know these games don’t matter?

It’s the preseason. It literally meant nothing outside of guys starting the learning process of who is who.

The starters actually jumped out to a pretty significant lead. It wasn't until they started subbing in guys that the Suns caught up. Wood and Reddish were part of the first group to sub in and did not help. Rui also didn't seem himself today, lending further to the problem. They tried going with Wood as the lone big and that did not end well. The team went on a run though as soon as Hayes entered for him. They're really giving Wood every shot to prove himself and he has mostly disappointed IMO.

People saying relax, it's preseason, as if things will be different when the real games start. It's as if you haven't been following these Lakers these past few years. I won't be surprised if the first 25 games will also feel like pre-season. That's what Bron and AD have done the past few seasons, they've used regular season as pre-season. They have always been too cool for school in preseason.

I'm gonna have to push back here AD hardly looked "too cool for school" tonight or most of the preseason. And I went to two preseason games live. As I recall, and definitely tonight, the wheels fell off the cart whenever substitutions were made. And I think that has largely to do with the fact that the main people we're supposed to be subbing to haven't been available in the preseason, which has been its own frustration not getting the opportunity to see how everybody looks. So if anything the first several games will be a "preseason" because of guys that were missing that will hopefully be back.

Almost seems like a repeat of last year.Lackluster preseason where Lakers continued to lose in the most frustrating ways but everyone said no big deal & Lakers started 2-10.Smh I still don’t like Darvin’s sub patterns but there are a few injuries and of course some minutes were managed so he gets a pass.I just hope Lakers don’t dig a whole in the standings and start the season off well.

Main concern would be how brutal the schedule is to start the season. Lakers could easily start out 0-5 if they don't come out clicking. Really wanted to see some tune-up tonight with a strong end to preseason, and we got some of that in the first half (still a concern that the Suns without Booker and Beal stuck with us so close), but still some good things. The way the starters came out in the third was bad, though. Just no real offense, even against the Suns' bench lineup that Vogel rolled out to start the third.

The regular rotation has put up 203 points in six quarters, or 72 minutes. That output equates to 135.3 points per game.

Sure, the defense hasn't looked incredible, but you can count on the intensity and focus being where it needs to be when the games count.

So, yes, relax. It's just preseason and the Lakers played more than fine.

It’s on AD and everybody else to carry the regular season. Save the 39yr old for playoff run
