tbh DLO is acting like the leader of the team. AD and Bron are the official captains, but DLO's always reassuring the other teammates, keeping communication, and whenever they make a bad play he's the first one over to let them know it was okay. When Wood missed the three and was cursing himself, DLO had his arm around him in the huddle.
He's not running down court with his head down when a teammate does something wrong or causes a turnover, he's over telling them it's okay and they'll get it back and they all do his "Ice in my veins" when they hit a big shot.

Lebron’s arm wasn’t even up. |
It didnt need to. His hand was in his face when the shot went off and it was so bad that it didn’t even hit the rim. |

Vando back will mean Austin probably reverts to his normal self.
Austin and Lebron are forced to exert themselves more on defense with Vando out.
Taurean is a great pickup but I’m tired of Lebron and AD giving him green light likes he’s Kobe Bean Bryant
Not fair for Taurean as he’s naturally not selfish like that |

Defense was not inconsistent. Reaves was hunted. Take out those segments each quarter and they won and got stops. He got picked apart in the first. Then he got picked apart in the third when Bron and Dlo set to we went from up to down 8. Then in the fourth he got picked on 5 straight trips and got benched for a big group. Literally the inconsistency is Reaves getting his ass beat and singled out |

It's just way too early in the season to make a statement like that though. Right now is all about trying to get wins any way you can while the team builds chemistry and an identity going into 2024

Cam needs to stop shooting threes. Just not his strong points. I think I’ve seen him hit 1-22 thus far counting pre season

just got back from the game...
dlo was huge for the lakers tonight...
and so was wood...
the magic are athletic and fast and they make shots, we honestly expected a loss...they were down most of the game...
but the lakers needed this with the clips coming next... |
