QFTOS: Red Sox:
Quote: | Quote: | We were one pitch away from winning...
|
One pitch away with two that would’ve been called a strike for the Dodgers. I normally don’t get upset about umpires aside from one or two bad calls a game because everyone is human and I know I couldn’t do any better. But holy (bleep) there were so many 4th and 5th strikes in at bats this game
|
Quote: | Weissert is such a Dave Bush era pitcher. Keep throwing that Frisbee breaking ball out of the strike zone until you're forced to throw a mediocre fastball over the heart of the plate. He's like the before in Tanner Houck's before & after.
|
Quote: | Worst loss of the season now we have to avoid being swept tomorrow
|
Quote: | Quote: | Quote: | I hate the dodgers so much I know they aren’t rivals but (bleep) them
|
God I (bleep) hate them too dude. Infuriating
|
They disgust me. Almost on par with the yankees |
Quote: | And then the Royals get to play the White Sox 13 times. Great league.
|
Quote: | Two blown saves tonight because of Kikè Hernandez and Chris (bleep) Taylor. At least last night was the top of their line up and we couldn’t score for (bleep).
|
Quote: | Weissert is a (bleep) disgrace. Not that I was expecting better but (bleep) Weissert. Absolutely blows
|
Quote: | I’m so (bleep) angry man. How the (bleep) do you blow that one. Be ashamed of yourselves and win in a blow out tomorrow. That’s the only way. That’s disgusting
|
Quote: | Kike (bleep) Hernandez! Seriously?
|
Quote: | Weissart and Bernadino are not guys you want on a playoff roster. Just garbage on the mound
|
Quote: | This (bleep) actually makes me want to die we had this game and I (bleep) hate losing to those bastards
|
Quote: | I'm sure Alex Cora is a good clubhouse manager, but his in-game management skills also cost us a lot of games. Definitely would understand not wanting to pay him the big bucks in the offseason.
|
Quote: | Quote: | We literally won this game if Laz does (bleep) suck. Weiser got the 3rd strike against kike that was called a ball
|
I went back and watched that AB a second time. If you're referring to the 0-2 pitch, that was a ball. Off the plate. Laz had a lot of bad calls but that wasn't one of them |
Quote: | Quote: | That one is on Cora, terrible bullpen management again.
|
People were (bleep) on Cora for loading the bases last night too. They see the result and say “he should’ve just done this instead” like it’s that (bleep) easy. It’s amazing. |
Quote: | Idc what ya’ll say. Jansen should have closed the game out. Dude too busy drooling over the dodgers he probably doesn’t even feel bad about blowing the save.
|
Quote: | The game will be on ESPN tomorrow night.
Get ready for 3+ hours of slobbering on Ohtani's knob.

Kershaw is back. He will start on Thursday against the Giants, Roberts announced. Of course, we won't make that roster move until then. |

Good stuff LBP. It's been a while since we had one of those.
Always blaming the umps. I wonder if Dodgers fans do the same. I don't see anyone here blaming the ump for losing the game. |

x2 LBP thanks for the quotes. Awesome to read especially the last one.
We know the feeling because it just happened to us last week. Blowing b2b games late with a lead will send a fan base into spiral. |

Interesting. He got wrecked his last start but his fastball did touch 92.
I wonder if this is a “he’s not going to get any better scenario” or a “he’s good to go and the result last rehab start was just tough luck” |

If his velocity is normal (for him), and he feels good physically, and his pitch count is built up, there's nothing left for him to do in the minors. |

Yeah as long as Kershaw isn’t injured (like he was at the end of the yr last yr), he knows how to get hitters out.
He will always be able to give you 6ip n 3 ER in his sleep. |

Kershaw should be in the bullpen and only pitches in bullpen games or long relief role, kind of like a 6th man of a basketball team. You know you have someone in your backpack who can step in and start on emergencies. But do not pencil him in strictly as a starter, can’t put too much pressure put on him. |

Max Fried to the IL for the Braves with left forearm neuritis. I'd say "hit it, Freddie", but y'all know the drill by now. |

Which is OK for the regular season but I don’t want him near a playoff game. |

To be fair, at least last year, if we put together these two posts, we should be able to see and understand, at least somewhat, that Kersh was injured last year come playoff time. Since he won't make this excuse, I will. _________________ Hey Doge, ever hear of “measure twice, cut once?” It is not cut first and measure later. |

We've been hearing about this rumor for awhile now hopefully we can dump some dead salary like CT3 or one of our injured arms since we'll be emptying the cupboard in any deal like this. |

Any deal w the CWS is not happening. They didn’t want prime Bobby Miller. No way it’s happening so I’m going to ignore all of these rumours with them. |

Finally some good news. I hope Outman figures it out in AAA and is able to come back. |

Paxton doesn't waste time. 3 pitches in and we're down 2-0. SMH |

We need a starting pitcher as Paxton gives up a 2 run homer in the first inning… |

Looks like Paxton woke up after the first inning. So far so good. (Knocks on wood) |
