Man if this guy Peterson is their key card to cover innings for them, the Mets are in for a world of hurt |

I think that's the fifth walk he's drawn this postseason. That's the only thing he's doing well. The pitchers need to come into the zone more on him, the way he's swinging. |

Should we do a bullpen game in game 2 if that happens? There is a day off after game 2. But after that 3 days in a row with games. |

Yeah I think so. Need to win both at home, go with your best stuff. Also like you said, rest day after. Walker or Knack can start game 3
Also regardless of how deep Jack goes, you don’t need to waste any of your good arms here. 3 innings of relief from one guy. |

The Mets seem like a consistent team with grit and energy (nothing personifies this than the quality of their starting pitching) but against high-end talent like ours, we are THEIR kryptonite. Its quite different than 1988 where not only did we get really lucky with our hitters (Scioscia homerun off Gooden) but our pitching was elite in starters and very very good borderline elite bullpen. |

Its kinda like 2017 NLCS but the gap quality in teams is even greater between us and the Mets and us vs the Cubs in 2017 and there WAS a noticeable gap in quality between us and the Cubs in 2017 just like how they were better than us in 2016. |

Our hitters are built for finesse guys (not free swingers like the Phillies) and thats what you have when you have a bunch of above average collection of pitchers but not truly elite guys |

3-1 to Alonso and he just calmly flips in a slider to get him off the barrel and to get the ground ball out. Dude is really pitching out there. Notice that his fastball is sitting 92-93. You don't have to have plus velocity at all. Hell, Buehler sits 95 and can touch 96. |

Not only that, I saw Walker touch 98 in his last start. He just needs to keep his command - pitch to contact if you have to. Just maintain composure and most importantly - dont try to be perfect. This is Walker's biggest problem - the mindset shift that he NEEDS to accept - you arent elite anymore buddy. Just get the outs no matter how you get them. |

Lux left the game with hip tightness. We are limping to the finish line. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Mets got a couple lefty starters coming up. Got some opportunities for him to get some rest. May only have to pinch hit an AB or 2 in those games. Hope it’s not serious. |
