Taurean Prince is no longer on the injury report for Monday’s game at Miami after missing the last 2 games, and he’s available to return.
Rui Hachimura, Gabe Vincent and Jarred Vanderbilt remain out.
Jaxson Hayes was added with a “questionable” tag due to a left ankle sprain.

Miami likes coasting in the regular season before turning on the switch this is a good opportunity to get a win unless the team plays with bad effort again |

If Lakers were coasting, Lebron wouldn't be among the league's lead in minutes played. Ham has been using Lebron like he wants to win every game because his job security depends on it. _________________ Offense gets the glory but DEFENSE (and rebounding) wins championships!! |

Haha so true bro, if LeBron ends up getting injured, Ham is gonna feel a lot of Heat, he should already be on the hot seat |

The Lakers need to get off to a much better start in the 1st quarter. We have been pathetic out of the gate!
We need more effort and energy, on both end, in the 1st quarter.
Through the first six games, the Lakers are last in the NBA with a plus/minus of -72 in the first quarter.
Home court advantage is one thing but there is no excuse for falling behind by double digits in the 1st quarter.
Last season it was the 3rd quarter woes, this season we have a pattern of starting out notoriously slow in the 1st quarter.
Putting yourself in a hole early is a recipe for disaster......... WAKE UP LAKERS!! |

What is Ham doing differently in the 1st quarter than the other 3? Does he start with that 5 out philosophy to get down double digits then abandon it for the rest of the game? I haven’t been observant enough to recognize why we get beat so bad in the first then are able to come back and win some games. Anyone more astute got the answer? Or opinion? _________________ “When it looks as if it is a realistic possibility, I want to focus on winning a ship like it’s a goal that can’t be denied. I didn’t see that this off season.” |

It’s best to ignore the subset of fans that blame Darvin Ham for inflation and climate change. We’ve only played a handful of games and slow starts have been a problem. Our best player tends to pace himself throughout the game. Our guards haven’t shot well out of the gate, though that is starting to improve. The rebounding problems are more a function of not having any wing size out there. Vando and Rui are out and we are starting Cam freaking Reddish. We’ve started the year playing without several rotation players in pretty much every game. Then people act surprised when the rotations aren’t ideal. You can only play the players you’re got. We played a undermanned Orlando team while we were also playing without 4 serious rotation players. We got outworked, and that shouldn’t happen, but it’s also tough to compete on the boards when all of your wing size is out and you’re playing a bigger team. They’ll have to figure it out as long as those guys are out, but a team that heavily relies on Cam Reddish for that stuff is going to have iffy results. It’s going to require a team effort and guys will have to step into areas they usually aren’t required to. That may be a process. _________________ 14-5-3-12 |

I think we'll have to wait on that for a bit longer. A simple win would do wonders for me at this point. |

Seems like NBA players get injured if the wind blows too hard these days. Too much Monsanto in their diet?

LeBron always has and always will get the final say on how many minutes he plays, as did Kobe. I think Ham has a lot of faults but I don’t blame him for the stuff that is the result of him being outranked. |
