The Rockets are a team that will test the Lakers resolve. They've beaten the Kings, Clippers, and Nuggets, teams we lost to. AD isn't 100%. He's been managing a hip injury for more than a week. He said his focus will be on defense. He's not expecting to score a lot of points. I expect him to cut down on turnovers.

LET'S GO LAKERS!!!

The Rockets blew out the Clippers once and the Kings twice. Teams we lost to. I expect a real scrap.

Why didn't you mention that they blew us out by 34 points?

That's the most relevant information.

If AD is recovered from his back spasms and Reaves can break out of his funk then we should have a good chance but Houston is no longer terrible.

If the Lakers don’t come with focus and intensity this will be a repeat of the Sac game. The Rockets are pretty close to what Sac was last season, maybe just a year behind.

They have the coaching and talent to grab a play-in spot.

If AD isn’t close to 100% and he brings the same effort the last couple of games we should sit him in this game, Sengun is like the Turkish version of Sabonis and AD might not be healthy enough for the match up

That comparison is actually an insult to Sengun. He is closer to Jokic than he is to the one dimensional Sabonis…which makes AD’s struggles against Sabonis kind of pathetic.

Jokic or baby Jokic I get because they have a diverse offensive game. Getting clowned by Sabonis is bad. Look at how small ball GS abused him in the playoffs.

Sabonis might not be the physical specie that Jokic is but he posses a threat because he’s versatile and that makes other bigs tough to go up against him

I think the Jokic comparison is actually interesting either way if AD doesn’t have it in this game it’s gonna be tough

We were just too small last time we faced them with no AD. Like with every game, it would be nice to have Vando, but we should be more formidable this time around. Let’s also hope they don’t shoot 42% from 3 again.

This is one of those teams that we should hold home court against as they do with us.

Need to avoid another slow start. They can't keep putting themselves in a deep hole early & climb their way out over & over again vs good teams.

It’s interesting how some of the same people that are calling this easy when are the ones losing their (bleep) in the game thread

Maybe manage your expectations better so that you don’t looks like such a fool

Anthony Davis is a big part of everything we do to win if he is limited it makes it harder

You're right I should have mentioned that it would have bolstered my position this game isn't going to be an easy win. Ham has to find a rotation that will take some weight off of Bron. AD is key. I'm a CWood fan. I think giving him more burn will help in that vein. He can score and block shots.
