D’Angelo Russell is not on the Lakers’ injury report for the DEN game tomorrow. So whatever treatment he underwent, he appears to have recovered from.

It’s rare for me to agree with the analysts on TV but I totally agree with Richard Jefferson today. The Nuggets and Clippers are the only competition the Lakers have in the west.

I love the Lakers chances as long as LeBron and AD stay at least reasonably healthy. When it gets closer to the end of the season, I see the Lakers making a push for the 4/5 seed and teams like Utah, GS, Houston, and maybe even Dallas trying to see if a playoff push is even worth it at that point.

I like the Wolves and Pelicans and I can see them making noise against other teams but I just think the Lakers are a really bad matchup for them. The Lakers have the name, the stars, the fans, etc and it’s going to be really hard for those teams to build momentum when the fans, the media, and the officiating is not in their favor. It’s really hard for the underdog teams to take out the big guys in the playoffs.

I didn't post it here but in the injury thread I posted they finally disclosed that he had one of those injections into his knee like he used to get .


D’Angelo Russell has been downgraded to questionable tonight vs. Denver due to left knee soreness.
