He ate a slap to the head and then ate multiple body shots there for no foul. He has to take that tech. The assistant did right though because his coach isn’t taking a tech for him there |

To your point the last series by Jax vs the last couple fouls by JJJ shows the difference between going with your arms straight up like Hayes did which forced tough shots, versus JJJ going forward which was fouling guys who were trying shots that they weren't going to be anywhere close with.
I had to check, but Hayes is the younger guy, 23 turning 24 in may versus JJJ turning 25 in july. |

So much of Jackson’s time has been cut because of fouls in his career. Before this year he had never averaged 30 mins a night. And even this year it’s only 32. It’s foul trouble that kills his everything |
