We won't win Game 5, but if we do, I think the conversation around this series will change a bit. People will wonder if Denver is bored, complacent or overconfident. It seemed they were like that a couple of times early in last year's playoffs.
LeBron is the ultimate front-runner. If we win Game 5, I think he will play a great Game 6 and get his team to believe they can actually win this series, just like he did in the 2016 NBA Finals. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers |

There is always something about LeBron teams losing in the 1st round it’s usually very rare and it was rare up until when PHX beat us in the 1st round, avoiding a sweep is nice cause we finally get a win against Denver but the reality is another season of LeBron and AD will go down the drain |

Front runner? A overwhelming Majority of his best playoff games have been when hes been down and/or facing elimination lol. |

Front running doesn't just mean having a series lead. It could also mean having the most talented team or just having momentum on your side, even if you're down in a series.
These double-digit leads we've had on Denver going back to last year's WCF prove that we're close to them in terms of talent. LeBron is going to have to lead from the front if we are to pull off a comeback in this series. He needs to bring his A game on Monday in Denver. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers |

Hate to say it, but I think Lakers up 3-1, or 2-2, and would definitely close out Denver with Kyrie Irving. He would be go to guy on those stagnant stretches. Constant pressure on Denver, unlike D'Lo, who can only apply the pressure every other game. Damn. |

Lakers need a closer, and obviously Kyrie would fit that role, but nets didn’t want to trade him to us (rumor) |

I don't trust the inexperience OKC to beat Kyrie and Luka. I see Dallas in the WCF. |

Much better job by Lebron today of moving. He gave them a taste of their own medicine by Aaron Gordoning them today. He had multiple baseline cuts when his man wasn't paying attention. |

Better him than Murray. If Murray gets hot its over. No one on the Lakers can guard him |

I predicted 4-1 Denver and that game 4 is the one that Lakers would take. So if my prediction is spot on again, Denver would close out the series at home. Really hoping I'm wrong here. Every fiber of my body wants to be wrong. Go Lakers! _________________ Los Angeles Lakers 2025 NBA Champions!! Go JJ! |

Outside of game 3, it’s not like Den is just mopping the floor with us. You could argue we should have won both game 1 and 2 or at minimum were in great position to do so. We stay active on the glass and get D Lo rolling we have a great chance in game 5. All the pressure is really on them and we have been competitive in Den. |

First game we've outrebounded the Nuggets too, btw. So basically whoever wins the rebounding battle wins the game. Rebounding is all about boxing out and effort. _________________ Los Angeles Lakers 2025 NBA Champions!! Go JJ! |
