I know that Donald had a prolific career but I remember mostly for his narration of America’s Game for the Colts championship season

Obviously he had a long and prolific career, but I will laud him for his small but captivating role in my second-favorite film ever, JFK. His one long scene with Kevin Costner's Jim Garrison, as the mysterious "X" shadowy figure from the government, was the best scene of the movie.

He's one of the greatest actors to never receive an Oscar nomination. May he RIP.

Kelly’s Heroes is a favorite of mine, Oddball was a great character. “Don’t hit me with them negative waves so early in the morning.”

I find him to be a slice of uncured ham as an actor, but that really worked in his favor within certain roles. His best role was kosher (ham free ) in that underrated masterpiece, Don't Look Now.

I just watched him a few days ago in the movie A Time To Kill. RIP
