Why wouldn’t he, he will get so many open shots to prove himself. Lakers probably don’t want to trade him if he can show his worth. |

All it takes is a conversation with Horry to understand the business and what you can do when you get over your feelings |

He is a rookie with his mins, career and net worth on the line. He's not some superstar, he knows he has to compete in order to get any of that. Nothing in the NBA is give, it's a dream killing machine and DK needs to stay a step in front of it or it might be his last step
He going to come in ready and be a professional because he has no other choice |

He wasn’t recruited out of high school, had to go through JUCO, northern Colorado, and then Tennessee. A lot like AR’s journey.
I think he will be ok. |

I think it’s more about what’s between the ears. He makes a LOT of mistakes. He’s a rookie, sure, but we’re not going to slow the team down for a guy whose one dimensional and not as sharp processing wise as any number of vets who may not shoot as well but do a dozen things he can’t. That said I’d love to see this kid get some run with Luka AND LeBron. Just an endless stream of 3s |

Imo Dalton is getting bad advice from his agents.
It’s fine to want to process, but he should look at this as a better opportunity to showcase and land a big contract.
It’s much easier having eyes notice you under pressure than to be an afterthought in Charlotte where evaluators question how you would play under pressure. |

You guys got a bad source
Jovan Buha's ACTUAL quote:
Quote: | JJ Redick said he met with Dalton Knecht this morning and he understands he still needs time to process everything. He said Knecht will likely be out of the rotation tonight. |
Quote: | Redick expects Knecht to be back in the rotation Wednesday in Utah. |

It's not an actual quote. It's paraphrasing from someone on twitter I believe |

it's also important to let DK play because once he plays again, then Hornet's contested of the rescinded trade would be a moot point, if not already is. |

I'm sure he'll get it...we like you, but we really needed a center and we had a chance, but we aren't giving you up for popcorn or damaged goods so here you are...you are going to have an opportunity make the most of it.... |

is there any truth to the beef between DK and Bronny? i've read it somewhere that DK doesn't really respect Bronny. |

I don't get what Charlotte's defense would actually be.
"Your honor, Mr. Williams is completely healthy but we chose to play our productive center only 40% of time out of an abundance of caution"
Or,
"We feel like Mr. Williams is the picture of health but we prefer to trade him even though he puts up 15 and 10 because we'd prefer a one way rookie and a pick"
The mere fact they want to keep Knecht and 31 is proof something is seriously wrong. Let alone the actual evidence that he's missed most of his games. |

Glad to hear Knecht is playing on Wednesday.
This is where we see what Knecht is REALLY about as both a player and a person. _________________ LUKA FREAKING DONCIC WHAT IS THIS TIMELINE?!

Just playing devils advocate, “The Lakers can see from the stats that Mark averages 31 games played per season, and can see from the historical injury reports that he is known to have injuries X,Y, & Z. How can the Lakers expect a perfect bill of health for a player with these publicly known injuries.” |

Then why have the physicals.
If I were a Charlotte fan, I’d feel pissed too but that whole process with HIPAA can be manipulated.
Maybe Rob was just trying to appease Luka and did it against his better instincts and then when he saw the chance to back out he took it.
Or maybe they legitimately found something.
I just don’t get how you can force it through if you are charlotte but maybe I’m wrong.

"we are not expecting a perfect bill of health, but if the Hornets didn't disclose the complete injury report, and we found something concerning with our tests, we have to rescind the trade, we can make our findings to the league if requested. the CBA stated that a team can reject any trade if not signed off by the medical staff" |

Dalton is fine. JJ gave him time to process but he would have played last night if not for the late flight and is playing Wednesday. We should hold pages like that accountable and make them take down false info. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

I really like Knecht and am glad the trade got rescinded. He is a pro and will prove he deserved to stay in the long run. I think, lol. |
I think there's a high chance he's traded in the summer unfortunately. We still have a glaring need for a C and IMO the Lakers should invest in the position. |

Depends. There will be other options besides trades over the summer. DK's salary isn't big enough to get a top tier guy (Bam, Turner, etc.) by himself and with $187 million committed to 11 players in 25-26, I don't see the Lakers moving on a high salary guy. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns". |

He's the only sweetener for a trade besides the '31 pick. Maybe a strong postseason run ups the values of Vincent, Rui, Vando as trade assets but if you want positive assets like (say) Claxton, you gotta give up something of value. Knecht counts as value. |

Dalton Knecht is a weapon!
To have him on the perimeter with the ball in LeBron or Luka or Reaves hands... wow... talk about keeping a perimeter defender out on the perimeter so that any of those three can drive to the basket... look the F out! _________________ FRONT OFFICE... GET A DAMN CENTER ALREADY! |
