He has a long stride length. He can cover a lot of ground in just a few steps. Great instincts in the 2-man game. Driving, kicking, screening, getting behind the arc. For a college player, good ball security the way he shields as he dribbles up the court. He just needs to show he can make a couple more shots and he is ready to go.
Felt like he was forcing a lot of shots today… Might be the game plan. But seems very tunnel visioned at times.
Both him and Bronny need some time to adjust on nba game speed, specially Bronny who looked indecisive and was rushing his shot a lot. His athletcism and speed stands out.

Better Tyler herro. Needs to be a little thicker to stay comfortable against physical nba defenses when shooting and on drives. But he gets what he wants when he wants and does everything very smoothly. If he can finish the shot he is going to be a very, very good piece.
Was impressed by his passing mostly. The shot obviously needs to go down for him to be able to contribute right away, but there are some playmaking chops that I hope Redick explores.
Thoughts on defense/ rebounding? rebounding figures are not impressive
(I'm not watching lol)
He’s 6-5 and he’s definitely a gunner. His game is not the mix it up dirty work type of game. He hasn’t been able to find his shot, but the Mike Miller comparisons have some merit to them. The way he moves and shoots reminds me a lot of a shorter Mike Miller.

Rebounding didn’t look good. Sometimes the ball just doesn’t bounce your way, but it seemed like there were a few times he had position, boxed out, ball bounced towards him and the other guy took it no problem.
Haven’t been very impressed with him in his first two games in SL. Means nothing, of course, since sample size is tiny and it’s clear the SL team isn’t particularly good right now. Looking forward to seeing what he can do with some better plays run for him.

Not good for the most part. He picked off a pass for a fastbreak bucket but otherwise he lost his man offball and gets turned and moved as a man defender.
Don’t think he’s going to thrive in the disorganized chaos of Summer League. Need to run plays for him. He’s not a go-to scorer/ball handler. He’s also just missing shots he usually profiles to make. A reminder that SPL is glorified pickup. _________________ 14-5-3-12
I don’t care much about FG% in summer league. It’s the ability to get to your spots comfortably against higher level athletes. Same with when Reaves was in summer league he shot like 30% from the field but you could tell he had high level feel and could get to his spots.
I thought Knecht looked pretty comfortable getting good looks in game 1 but I didn’t get a chance to watch all of game 2 yet. How’d he do in that sense?
