Imagine if Dalton makes a game winning buzzer beater 3, and the first thing the media does is run to Bronny and ask him how does it feel to be sitting Courtside with your dad |

Dalton Knecht calls it a ‘blessing in disguise’ that he fell to the Lakers in the draft
With Dalton Knecht falling to the Lakers in 2024 NBA Draft, the pairing could be a best-case scenario for both parties.

I feel like dalton is the least hyped first round pick in laker history. It’s like the lakers are trying to hide him or nobody cares. It’s very strange. Idk I expected to see more interviews and articles about him. Even on media day they just kinda hid him with bronny. It’s crazy. _________________ “like I never left”

You're basing this off of JJ's interview? _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points." |

I mean that’s kind of expected, right? I kinda figured Max would be the one to take Taurean princes minutes. I think a lot will have had to go wrong for dalton to see meaningful minutes.
Guards
Austin
Dlo
Max
JHS
Dalton
Wings
Max
Rui
Vando
Dalton
Seems like he’s sitting just outside the rotation no matter how you look at it.
Perhaps he can see some minutes here and there if there are injuries. Maybe he can get 10 minutes or so while Vando is getting healthy. Sucks but it is what it is. _________________ “like I never left”

Yeah mostly. A trade or an injury could change things. _________________ 14-5-3-12 |

That would be nice, but I was watching spectrums coverage of media day and they didn’t even bother to interview dalton. That’s concerning because they interviewed bronny, JHS, and Hayes.
Do they know something we don’t? I just think it’s strange because he’s supposedly our big off season acquisition. _________________ “like I never left”

Reminds me of a young Galinari. Maybe he’ll get minutes as back up 3 with Wood/Vando sidelined, this should make Rui/AD the back up 4 behind Bron _________________ “The main goal for the Lakers is to win a championship. Imagine if we had Klay, DC might never get a chance to develope. It's a blessing in disguise that Klay turned us down. Our incompetent GM had luckily dodged another bullet. _________________ Los Angeles Lakers 2025 NBA Champions!! Go JJ! |

Both Knecht and Christie should be challenging for Rui's minutes to not put him back on the bench.
On any other team Knecht is starting and getting every shot and being groomed as the franchise guy going forward. We were just fortunate he fell to us. Get him more minutes and shot opportunities. If it's at Rui's expense it's Rui's own fault. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

I think most fans kinda subconsciously penciled him in as a zero this season. I'm expecting him to be a real factor that contributes to winning and has his share of big games. Much more impactful than Prince. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points." |

Or you know if he’s a smart player he would have learned from Klay, stole some of his training, and gotten a blueprint from a champion and hall of famer. Klay was needed in this team for the simple fact no one on this team can be consistent from three in the playoffs with Dlo being ice from the field and Vando getting played off the court |
