The other thing is players like that who do develop into that strong defensive role (with some 3 point shooting). You usually see that happen for players when they are in their mid 20s fully developed physically. Caruso was like 25-26. Most projected players like that tend to be 3-4 college year pros, then even some don't come straight into the league right away. GP2 got into the league at 24. Even then didn't really make it to a level where he'd get a longterm deal until 27.
Hopefully the next year is just him working on strength, defensive IQ and 3 point shooting. Where he can pick his spots to launch 3s, what he needs to work on defensively.
The one thing about Bronny I do like, his IQ/approach leads me to believe he would be willing to focus in on a small role like 3&D pressure guard.
Yea it's a bit ironic that I can see Bronny being valuable but it's after a lot of development and basically well after LeBron has retired. I didn't realize it until LFR's video but Bronny's C&S 3 point stroke needs a ton of work. Fortunately he has the perfect head coach to help him with the technique side

Bronny working out with Garland and Clarkson
That dribble step-back on JC at the end was actually kinda nice. If anything, defending guys like Garland and Clarkson as a practice sesh can only help. Perhaps Bronny can learn a thing or two when it comes to JC's iso skills and Garland's savy navi off the PNR.
That Klutch gene coming in clutch right now. _________________ The butter's hard and the eggs are chillin' in the dark.

He actually looks much bigger than JC and Garland... Bronny is already an athletic freak for his size.
Like the work ethic he is showing. Look like he is willing to improve. Working out with some of the best guard scorers in the league can only benefit him in the long run.
Bronny's work ethic is no different than the work ethic of players that want to remain in the NBA.
It's good to know he's putting in work in the off-season. But if he'd put in the same amount of work in high school/college when he'd been working with the best trainers in the world the majority of his life, he'd have some semblance point guard skills by now.
He has a LOT of work to do. The NBA has plenty of athletic freaks, and he'll have to be more than that to make something of himself. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Looking at Bronny he doesn’t look small compared to other NBA guards like they tried to make him out to be during the draft. THT is 6’4 with a 7’ wingspan and Bronny looks like he sizes up well against him.
Physically, looking at bronny next to those NBA vets is crazy. Bronny is (bleep) built for a 19 year old. How can anyone say this guy isn’t an nba player?
I feel like he’s gonna seem like a steal in a few years _________________ “like I never left”
Squint at bronny James and his game is identical to his father’s. Except he’s not 6’9 260+ so he actually needs a little wiggle in his game to be effective lol
If you look at it from that lense it makes sense why his guard skills are behind the rest of his game. Lebron is his first teacher.
Look at bronny’s physique. It takes years to build that type of body. I bet his bball IQ is off the charts as well.
Shooting takes reps and years to get better. His ball handling isn’t bad but not great for a PG either. He does have a really soft touch around the rim which gives you a lot to work with.
Kids gonna be a steal. _________________ “like I never left”
Its great if the kid pans out to be a contributor, hell, even a difference maker on an NBA team. But there are guys that come out every year with better athletic ability, size and skill set than Bronny. Let's stop this madness, please. _________________ "Dread it, run from it... destiny arrives all the same."
I’m sure lebron is going to be more locked in than usual since his son is on the team watching him. Bronny is gonna be a good player for us and you can’t count on that. _________________ “like I never left”
can't teach size. Hopefully he's a good player that we look back on and say solid draft. but he's small and no more athletic than the next guy. fortunately for him. money allows for risks. If he flames out he will have options beyond being an Uber driver. Not that there is anything wrong with being a driver. _________________ Kobe.

Dude, you have literally not one iota of evidence to suggest he wasn't doing those things. I am vehemently against the pick but this is absurd. _________________ KOBE

I have to agree. Bronny doesn’t look like he has the skills to be an NBA player and there are plenty of offspring from athletes that don’t make it. The main reason…yea, LBJ’s relation is a major factor…Bronny is even in a conversation is his work ethic. The work was interrupted by the medical condition as well. I’m not optimistic, but his work ethic has been his best attribute. _________________ “When it looks as if it is a realistic possibility, I want to focus on winning a ship like it’s a goal that can’t be denied. THT to me looks better than Bronny by a lot in those clips, but we all knew that in those 1 on 1 situations THT was better anyway. We're not going to be asking Bronny to score that way. THT has great NBA body but he can't shoot from outside well enough. That's why he's struggling to get a new deal in the NBA.
The things that will make or break Bronny's NBA career

I like your knowledge when it comes to NBA players so I’m gonna be interested to know who Bronny is comparable to in terms of Impact?

Gotta expect minimal to negative impact at this point, G-League for sure but he does have the burden of performing at the level of Lonnie Walker, Dinwiddie and other vet min guards _________________ “The main goal for the Lakers is to win a championship.
