I hope JHS is healthy, it's going to suck though that he's been not playing basketball for so many months of rehab. So I don't expect him to be as progressed as he would have been by now if he'd never gotten injured and had an off-season of work under his belt. I do expect him to have progressed though.

He may not even be on the team by next week. With DJM traded it seems as though the hawks are in rebuild mode. We would need JHS to make salary work for Trae.

The Bronny pick probably demoralized him. If I was any end of the roster player, I’d want traded. I wouldn’t want to deal with unprofessional Daddy ball at the expense of my own career

Why in the hell would Lakers want a small guard, that's a defensive liability?

Sounds more like fans want to hurt the Lakers than improve them.

I'm excited for Castleton. Hope he's ready to be a 3rd stringer. JJ wants to use big men as offensive hubs and Castleton has that skillset. Castleton is also 24 years old, so if he's going to be an NBA contributor then he needs to show it soon.

This kid gets exposed on D... Another guy I wish well, but I just don't see him
being capable against NBA competition.

He's slow, can't jump or get his shot over the athletic competition. I
have no clue how he will get around that.

They're obsessed with "names" over fit.

If you think Dlo is bad defensively, wait till you see Trae along side AR.

A lot of his weaknesses from last time we saw him, can be attributed to his lack of strength. So we hope that he took the year to get stronger and put more muscle in his system.

Let see if JHS-Knecht can live up to Lonzo-BI SL, half court alley oop on first play, Magic gave the Don corleone signal to shut BI down… legendary

Why? In terms of college and proving himself, he's currently 10x the player Bronny is. JHS's mentality is to continue to work harder so if anything it just made him do that.

Let’s win this thing and start off our run at the triple crown, SL, IST, NBA Finals.

As he recovers from back surgery at the end of last season, Jalen Hood-Schifino, the team's 2023 first-round pick, will not be on their summer league roster I'm told.

Sad to see. But hopefully his recovery continues. Back injuries/surgeries are no joke and can end careers or severely diminish players.

No serious team will treat the IST as anything but regular season games. The risk of burnout is too high.

Would much rather win the SL championship because it will be a measure of an organization that scouts and drafts well (see the 2017 squad). That team with Caruso, Zu, TB, Zo, Kuz, BI, Vander Blue and Matt Thomas is still the best summer league team I've ever seen.

I’m okay with JHS not playing. At this point, I ain’t interested in him anymore. We wasted the pick. Whatever. Can’t change that now.

More interested in seeing Bronny anyway. Backcourt of him and Dalton will be fun to watch.

Bronny James
Dalton Knecht
Maxwell Lewis
Armed Traore
Colin Castleton

I imagine this will be the starting lineup?

Hoping to see Kormac Carl "Max" Christie take the next step up this Summer League. Another year, another summer league, another chance for him to improve and move from the deep, deep bench to end of the rotation.

We'll see if he can improve enough to be half as good as some Lakers fans think he is.
