Nice work lady Ballers! Their 5 billionth win in a row, I shall watch the broadcast this morning.
Man, they got lucky
I'm not usually one of the "ref's are fixing it crowd" but it was blatant in the USA Women's vs France game. A'ja got fouled about 4 times on 1 play with no calls, and on the other end USA got a clean block that was called a foul.
that was just 1 instance
the home cooking in this game was almost like "USA men beat France, so lets fix it so the French women win"
of course, it didn't help that the USA just didn't play well.
Yeah now that I've watched it I was even more _________________ #Welp
I guess it's just me but that women's gold medal game was one of the worst games I've ever seen . Countless unforced turnovers, USA giving up multiple offensive rebounds on what felt like every possession, brick after brick after brick from 3 and seemingly every open or mildly contested layup. It looked like a bad day at the rec center especially in the 1st half. Just painful to watch especially in contrast with the men's gold medal game. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points."
If Team USA's average margin of victory is less than 10, then you're a bad coach. It isn't about the gold medal, it's about how much Team USA demolishes the opponents. Kerr is and has always been garbage. I would love to see Spo replace Kerr. _________________ Los Angeles Lakers 2025 NBA Champions!! Go JJ!

I don't think the problem is the coaching. Spo was there to give his input on what should be done. It's hard to throw guys together at the last minute and play teams that have history and familiarity playing together as well as experience playing in FIBA. Someone like Tim Duncan looked like a scrub on Team USA because he wasn't able to adjust in a short period of time.
