I will give my answer. I don't hate them at all, because, without them, I cannot see any other team that can be our true opponent. They are proud, as we are, and I just love when we beat them because they always have at least a decent team, that can compete against us.
This thread is another shocking reminder that Iām an old fart and canāt relate to the new generation of fans. So many things remind me that my time is coming to an end and that Iām no longer part of the target audience. I not only disagree so much that I have trouble relating to the current perspectives, but Iām also completed disgusted with the direction it seems to be heading.
To answer the questionā¦as a long time Lakers fanā¦the scale doesnāt go high enough for me to give a rating that reflects the intensity of the negative feelings toward Foston, Buck them! Always! Everytime! For anything! I see that as an obligation. _________________ When reasonably possible, I expect the Lakers to go after a ship like it canāt be denied. I havenāt seen a completely committed effort by the GM for the last 2 off seasons nor the last 2 trade deadlines. What is going on?
The stage is set up for LeBron to cement his name in Laker greatness. The Celtics are top dogs right now. Magic knocked them off that pedestal, Kobe knocked them off that pedestal, and now itās Lebronās turn.
Itās time for Lebron to go back-to-back and restore the rightful hierarchy in the NBA. Things donāt look too likely at this point, but it has to be done. Lebrons laker tenure has not been a lot of fun for Laker fans, but he can salvage it by going back-to-back and beating the Celtics in the NBA finals.

Mchale clothesline. Pierce wheelchair, annoying fanbase, and this latest title was a cakewalk for them because of injuries. I just canāt stand the Celtics.

I disliked seeing them get their 18th ring, but Iām old enough, and at peace with my life to the point that it doesnāt consume me.
I donāt see a path for the Lakers to be in consideration for another ring until they learn to value draft picks and assets, and when they can draft quality players in consecutive yearsā¦. In the 2030ās. Who knows how many rings the Celtics will have by then?
