I wanna see Quincy and Koloko on the floor. I'm thinking Both will turn out to be men of Sparkage for us, at minimum. |

We keep doing this.... Continue to play the "vets" that have contracts, while farming for the league to poach. |

Quincy Olivary 28/10/6 with only 2 turnovers and went 7/15 from three. If Bronny wasn't here he'd already be in the backup rotation over Gabe if he continued to translate it into the game. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

I think if Quincy continues to light it up, and Gabe continues to give us nothing we might see it happening in the next couple weeks. |

It's a bad optic to have him behind Bronny in the Lakers' rotation. One is mop up show material, and isn't being developed with any seriousness. The other appears to be showing the potential to contribute meaningfully, but would expose just how far away from reality the Bronny experiment is.
This is professional malpractice, and mgmt needs to be brought up on charges. |

Bronny isn’t getting any meaningful minutes. He’s a victory cigar or a surrender flag if we have the game won or lost. He is also on a regular contract so there are no limitations on how much he can play. Oliveri is on a 2-way, so if we waste one of the limited games he is available to us to put him in a 20 point blow out, that is potentially a game down the line we won’t be able to use him in. |

It's just game 1, but Bronny looks like he belongs on the lower tier of the G League roster, which is better than I thought he would be. Still not impressive, and his many turnovers and poor shooting showed he's not in the top half of that South Bay squad. He's an OK developmental bench player at the G League level, useful on defense in a second rotation as he gets used to 5 on 5 basketball.
Maybe it was jitters? He looked OK in spots, very inconsistent, Olivari is miles and miles ahead of him.
Looking at Olivari, oh man this guy belongs on the Laker roster. |

Might be even MaxC if translates, that looks like Knecht level potential _________________ “The main goal for the Lakers is to win a championship. All I care about, all we care about, is to raise another banner in the rafters.“ |

I understand reasons why Olivari isn't being used, but it only illustrates that even though he can potentially help the team, the contract roles should have been reversed. Bronny can't and won't help and is preventing a roster spot of a serious, potential contributor. |

My family member who resides in the ATL, said Olivari had no problems scoring against Anthony Edwards. Both players were raised in Atlanta. |

Why not give this guy a shot already.
It’s literally almost impossible for him to be worse than Gabe Vincent. _________________ Knecht 4 Starter

Olivari is eligible for 50 games. Inactivate JHS for a few games and play Olivari. If he takes off, clear a spot and some space to convert him.
But, unless you make him the usage guard, you'll see he gets frozen out just like the rest of our weak-side players. |

The Gabe experiment is over. I had hoped he would play himself into not having negative value. Give Quincy his minutes immediately. |

Not a Gabe fan at all, but I will say swapping him out for Quincy might not be as easy as thought bc of the defensive end. Quincy is a TBD there.
Have to keep in mind he would be playing alongside DLO off the 2nd unit. _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' Whatever, pow, three. I love the Zen, though." |

Well, only one way to find out.
You play him. We won’t know either way if we don’t. And again, it’s almost impossible for him to be worse than Gabe’s cardio production. _________________ Knecht 4 Starter

This kid needs to be on the big league roster because he’s fearless, a spark, plays with energy!
Because Max & Gabe are contributing nothing & seem uncomfortable & skidish when playing with LBJ. Gabe is worthless to our team! You need guys not afraid of the moment! PLAY Q… At least give him a look & chance instead of no contributions from our so called back up guards! _________________ My Laker squad.

I get that a coach wants to get a guy going. That being said, the only place Gabe should be going is to the bench. Come on JJ, give Q some run. There is no way he can be worse (yes the bar is that low). The more this continues, the more it appears that JJ is either stubborn or blind. |
