At this point while JJ's running the bench lineup with DLo to stagger minutes with the AD and DLO pick and roll and dynamic when LeBron is first one out until we get bench bodies back, there's no reason why Gabe should have any minutes next to DLO and Reaves.
At this point you may as well put Christie back into the rotation over Gabe because Gabe's done nothing to keep the minutes he's given.

We can’t continue to have ONLY Knecht4 being the ONLY threat to score or even take shots!
It just seems like the last two years our bench guys just get out there & try to stay out of the way & aren’t a factor on either end. Getting 0-0-0-0 from them in 8-12 minutes they play puts starters in a catch up situation.
If Wood & Gabe would revert back to 3 years ago threats we’d be fine! Max needs playing time but could & always gives effort & Cam would be consistent we’d be fine too. We know Knecht is not shy & that’s a lotta if’s, but hopefully Wood & Vando stay healthy & JJ can finally find a complement of 10 guys to run off a 8-2 record a couple of times before all star game?

Wood always produced. His problem is health.
Gabe's issue is just being useless. He's just doing cardio out there.
So far I liked how JJ has been doing rotations. So I hope he finally allows Quincy to shine a little bit. At the very least, to just give it a shot and see what happens. Because he certainly can't do worse than Gabe right now lol.
He already made the needed changes by making DLO a 6th man. So maybe he can do it again by giving Quincy Gabe minutes to see what happens.

I’m intrigued by having two movement shooters coming off the bench for us. They need to give him a shot in the rotation and if he shows up give him a roster spot. Use Gabe, Dlo and JHS to make a trade.

Q is on a two-way contract, so he can't get poached by another team.
Normal G-league players are "signed by the league" and can be called up by any NBA team.
two-way players are signed by the Lakers, who own their rights
Lakers are going to have a lot of expiring contracts this year, so if Q can deliver, he might have a shot

You know there's 29 other teams who passed up on him twice, and had a chance to sign him undrafted right?
Stop making it out like Bronny is the reason for that. Quincy is making the best out of the opportunity given to him. |

If we do end up making some bigger trade out of a few people like DLO, Rui, Vincent, Vando or whoever, it would be nice if Olvari is able to get brought up to the show and given a chance to prove himself in the NBA.
