Iverson seems a little low. Can't really complain too much about the list.

It sort of breaks down as The Best in the West, followed by the Best in the East and then Tier 2 westies.

KG that high doesn't make sense. In that range, playoff success has to mean something, and Jokic, Wade, KD, and Dirk outshine him there.

Harden was just an exploiter, right? Shooting 50 FTs a game doesn't make you good. It just shows you know how to exploit the system and the refs.

Some players drive to look to shoot. Some drive to look for passes. Harden drives looking to get fouled.

Westbrick must be a typo.

Being relevant (on court) for 5 years out of the 24 this century doesn't really help his case, even if he was the most dominant player in those 5 years.

Great list. Interesting that only five guys here have a semi-realistic chance to climb on this list: Steph, Jokic, Giannis, AD, and Luka

Because it's not a best NBA player between 2000-2006 list.

One guy jumped to another mans team. brought an all star cuck just to get his ring count up. even his biggest cheerleader said he needed Miami to even be in the conversation (shannon sharpe). Same guy led the team to a bronze. Played in a ridiculously easy conference and needed a once in a generation pandemic to win a ring, otherwise without covid hes had
2 1st round bounces
2 lotteries
1 WCF sweep.

2 guys got 5, in a ridiculously hard conference. Both guys flirted with leaving but never did.

1 guy beat the most 50 win teams on his way.

5 out 7
5 out 6
3* out 10

I guess that makes sense, like MVP awards the list is nothing more than a popularity contest.

And yet still get listed #1... and Top 3 in most goat polls.

Keep writing narrative stories tho.

First of all, Manu above AD is crazy to me. I had mad respect for Ginobili but in no way was he a better player. than AD. You can't tell me Manu deserves a spot over Vince Carter. This is supposed to be a top 25 player list. Not top players who contributed to championships making these types of lists so flawed. Tony Parker wasn't better than Kyrie.....FOH. lol.

But also that list reads as a bit unimpressive to me. No Kyrie? Seriously? Tony Parker? No T-Mac?

Like MJ and Kobe said. Tough to judge. The goal posts moved for him because the media and bronze fans fawn over him. Rings used to be the gauge. If they weren't he wouldn't have jumped to another mans team who was a few years removed from being a champion and also needed to bring an all star with him.

these list get tons of clicks. i am just grateful that Kobe never had to jump to another mans team. He knew he just needed functional guys around him to win rings.

What do you expect from LeESPN. This is the same network that was sending notifications every time bronny made a shot. The same network that said bronny is the favorite to win rookie MVP. They've sold their souls to klutch, just like we have and most of the media has. It's a garbage list from a garbage network that can't be taken seriously anymore....much like we aren't being taken seriously anymore and nobody wants to play or coach here.

And yet, when you look at most of the "All Time Greatest" lists Kobe is barely hanging onto # 10, and Lebron is solidly #2.
on some of those lists it's going TD, Shaq, Kobe (10th)

After LBJ broke the scoring record, The Athletic polled current NBA players (103 responded) asking "who was the best player ever"
MJ 58.3%
Lebron 33%
Kobe 6.8%

Kobe was a great player, but not quite as great as MJ, LBJ, KAJ, Wilt, etc
about 10th is about right for the time being
