OMMENT RE-QUOTED for proper context: saying anything against one party (or any of their leaders) is not allowed and will result in multiple attacks... !

was simply a reminder to a long-time member, to be more careful in his wording, less he suffer certain blow-back (which he did).

So, if a person makes a factually incorrect comment loaded with partisan bulls#!† about a very sensitive issue involving the deaths of children, they shouldn't be subjected to any criticism for it?

You act as if the responses were unreasonable . . . no bud, it doesn't work that way.

Meanwhile in Kentucky a nut decided to unleash his armory on a bunch of passing motorists.

So the shooter’s mom got a text from him right before the shooting that made her call the school to try to warn them.

The text?

“I’m sorry mom.”

That’s it. That’s all . . .

Yet it was enough to make her believe he was going to go shoot up a school.

That tells you everything you need to know about what she thought of her son’s mindset, yet her husband bought him an assault style rifle for Xmas and she apparently didn’t stop it.

What a sad story behind such a sad tragedy. Just as I wish some did not have children, I know, I'm not the ultimate decider here. Just as I'm not big on any level of the government punishing parents for being stupid, I think in this situation (based on what I know), the dad needs punishment. Just as I think the dad needs punishing, I wonder just what kind of father he had.

The issue needs serious study by serious minds, and unfortunately government has too few of these with too many too busy being tribal and factually challenged.
