50 game rule and already played 21 games with 40 games left in the season.

I just assumed he was in South Bay but though I get the logic that's very telling of the roster situation. If there were ever a game where you needed him it was down AD and with a bug you literally just gave a jersey.

It shows that they're very realistic about needing 2 two way guys to cover the center depth and no hope for a trade target or even bigger maybe they're unsure of freeing a roster spot if buyouts happen. Wait, I believe we are still able to pickup buyouts because we didn't step over the next apron but maybe I'm wrong.

We can get buyout guys whose contracts were smaller than the MLE, I believe.

Koloko has been balling in the G-League and tbh when it comes to prospects he's probably one of the best centers out there.

Remember Toronto gambled on him not getting better and he has but he was always considered a very high end. We can and should develop him as our center of the future tbh.

He's a damn vertical threat that they're looking for. Just give him some minutes.

It's a given that he will play like that in G-League. The coach there actually used both Koloko amd Jemison at the same time in their other games. He sometimes using Koloko as PF. Koloko can actually shoot 3 also, just need some reps.

Lets say hypothetically he develops to the point where he is as playable or even more than Hayes. Do you really want this guy playing meaningful minutes against the Hartensteins/Jokic/Sengun of the world???? No thanks. I would rather trust Dwight or even Wood or even just straight small ball after Hayes minutes than rely on this guy.

No thank you, I'll take Koloko over Dwight. Both will be eatin up, but Dwight was done the last time he was here, and I'm sure WELL DONE now. 39 and not in NBA shape.

By Jokic perhaps.....but Hartenstein and Sengun????? I actually think Dwight could hold his own there. With Hartenstein, its strictly a wrestling match inside to grab position. Prefer Dwight over Koloko there. Sengun???? Try his post moves on a guy with excellent defensive IQ, strength and experience over Koloko.

I think he's a prospect we need to keep more of an eye on. He was valued for a reason and he's a center prospect we can build with. imo if we waive Cam we need to sign on Koloko full time.

He is meh....not impressive at all. Guys, especially centers that are any good pop right out....even the ones that are unheralded. Gobert and Whiteside popped out immediately as soon as they were somewhat good. There is nothing that pops about Koloko.

He is basically in his 2nd year after missing a year of basketball and he came in as a raw talent anyway. I don't think he'll be dwight 2.0 or anything. But I think of all the center 'prospects' we've tried to make it work with development wise, he's a solid one to have to try to mold with.

If nobody becomes available I am okay with Koloko at the spot, just needs to play hard defense, rebound, and catch lobs.

Centers will be out of jobs if their standard is to stop jokic. Dwight is a joke nowadays, he is even trolling on twitter

Tbh I’d rather see more of him than get anyone else available right now. The free agent centers aren’t worth going after right now. Hell even the buy out ‘candidates’ don’t move the needle. Give Christian some more PT and go from there.

It’s not Koloko or the new guy, it’s Koloko AND the new guy, Kieff or Cam is the one we cutting

More I think about it just go with Hayes/Koloko/Jamison.

You just need 10 min from them in a playoff game.

Yes sir!!!! We just need a solid 10-20 minutes of defense from him! Jaxson Hayes can handle the rest. We don’t need them to shoot as there are enough shooters on this team.

I dont think we need anything from Koloko at all in playoffs time other than garbage time. It will be Hayes and then the Lebron/DFS/Rui/Vanderbilt frontcourt.

What about when Jax inevitably gets into foul trouble?
