So long Moses Brown then, hope Koloko is able and active for the first part of the season while Wood heals up. Didn't realize this guy had any kind of outside shooting touch but if so maybe JJ can play him with AD as long as they don't clog the paint when on the court together.
For those who is not excited with this signing we have not drafted a prospect project like this since Bynum. Big and Athletic.
we have signed plenty of prospects.none of which have panned out. _________________ Iman Shumpert, believes LBJ's decision to constantly team up with other All-Stars eschewed the idea of superstars continually adding layers to their repertoire.

We have had plenty of prospects but none who posse the potential Koloko does

The more and more highlights I see of Koloko the more and more exited I get. He seem to have the skills and defensively he is just more advance the offensively. Offensively looks like he has the touch and the form to improve on that side of the ball.

Highlights are doing you injustices. He was one of the worst offensive bigmen in the league.
He was a rookie whose upside is on the defensive end and still developing offensive game, and didn't get to have his second year.
On this team we won't be looking to him for offense outside of the pick and roll and being a lob threat, at least at this point. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

You guys love setting yourselves up for disappointment . He hasn't played in nearly 2 years so it will likely take him a minute to get up to speed and he wasn't actually good when he played but he showed potential. I think he's a good prospect that will eventually contribute but I'm not expecting much from day one and I think it will take a while before he actually cracks the rotation. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points."

That was just recent video, what I like about it is that he has touch and does not have stone hands. His shot is comfortable. Just nice to see that he has tools in his toolbox. Can he use those tools and develop to a productive player for us we will see. Getting exited about some of our younger player is just something different this year. Max, Knecth, Koloko, Bronny and even JHS development is exiting to me.

We'll be lucky if he's as serviceable as Thon Maker was. I was done hyping up prospects in Rob's administration a while ago. They have no idea what they are doing in regards to the youth (JHS over Jaquez and Podz should have been a fireable offense). _________________ Yi Jianlian Fanboy. Respect The Chair.

Hopefully he gets cleared medically but I’d rather put time into working on his game than to pay Christian Woods. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.

Look, I am cautiously optimistic and excited about his defensive versatility, but he doesn't really have the touch nor physicality that requires to finish through contact at the moment. If you say potential? sure why not. Everyone has potential. I don't want to ruin the parade, but this was a two way signing(though I'm more hopeful for Koloko than I was for Hayes/cwood). Let's not set ourselves for a disappointment.
He’s older than max but they were rookies the same year. If he’s been practicing and developing his game during his time off maybe he will be ready to contribute too? _________________ “like I never left”

Lowkey starting to get excited about this signing. He may be a factor.
I have news you probably won't like: he won't be a factor.
I have news you probably would not like: he will be a factor.
Why would I not like him being a factor? I root for the Lakers.
But being excited and counting on a player who got 13 minutes per game in his sole NBA season and who has since been out recovering from a serious, life-threatening illness to be a factor? Yeah, refuse to hang my hat on that.
If he proves me wrong - good. If he doesn't, I at least won't go through another disappointment, because I didn't really care in the first place.
