Hall of fame player Not In My House Dikembe Mutombo died of brain cancer today.

My bad. Typo and not proofread. He was a humanitarian. He didn't forget his roots.

Mutombo last played during the 2008-09 season, devoting his time after retirement to charitable and humanitarian causes. He spoke nine languages and founded the Dikembe Mutombo Foundation in 1997, concentrating on improving health, education and quality of life for the people in the Congo.

All the kids back in the days would do the finger when they blocked someone. It didn't matter what they were blocking. You blocked something from going in then you are Mutombo.

Big Fan of this guy, he came from out of nowhere to have a long and productive NBA career. What he did after basketball speaks for itself. Class act, RIP Good Sir...
