Anyone else going to this game? They are giving away Jerry west jerseys. I’m hoping Vando is ready by then and our offense looks a lot more smooth.

This game will be the gauge to decide whether I go to more games. They don’t necessarily have to win but they have to compete. I’m excited about this one…I have high hopes for this roster.

100%. If we show effort I'll show up more. If we look disinterested in playing any defense whatsoever you will see my season tic on Stubhub for 95% of the rest of the year.

we should win. Not that we are the better team but they have to get used to no kat.

Nice lol 😂 I really hope they show effort. Personally, I haven’t been excited about a laker team since Kobe was on the team. The youth movement was fun, the bubble run was cool, but I need a full season of laker dominance before Lebron retires.

I'm "that guy" - Lakers will go 82-0. After the first loss, I'll revise my prediction to 81-1.

maybe - they are certainly deeper and assuming Ant gets better that wont be a good thing.

TBH there are no interesting storylines this season other than the return of Lonzo Ball. I just hope they finally allow teams to play defense, but something tells me they're just gonna let teams jack up 50-60 3PAs a game. The worst part will be watching guys like SGA, Embiid and Harden bait the officials and turn games into FT shooting contests.

That's mainly why I am not interested and just check the box scores these days, although I do get league pass from time to time if a team is worth watching. I think Wemby gets a quadruple double this season, breaking the 30 year drought. Admiral was the last player who did it.

IIRC we benefitted near the top of the league in FT attempts.

If opening up against a bunch of fringe playoff teams and bottom dwellers is setting the Lakers up to fail, they’re simply not very good.

I think the Lakers will be fine in these games.
