DEN > GSW is a good result for the Lakers, IMO.

Yeah no issue with Denver winning. I see GSW as more of a threat tbh.

Now let’s kick some nugget ass on Wed.

I absolutely see Warriors as a threat ONLY because I worry about Draymond hurting someone. When they start losing he becomes unhinged

Yeah the last thing we need is for Draymond to Solomon Hill LeBron or Luka.

First round exit for GSW by OKC or Nuggets of they fall into play in.

Their fans are unfortunately rooting for the tank again, so it's a win for them.

More things change, more they stay the same.

I cant remember the last time Philly was a real contender. Even their 01 finals team, I dont consider them that since they had 0% chance of beating that Lakers team and throughout most of the 90s, they were downright atrocious. Literally we might have to go to fo-fo-fo as the last time they were real legitimate. Were there any future years since that point where if things broke right for them that were legit contenders? I really cant think of any.

Maybe if Kawhi didn’t hit that bounce-around game winner against them in game 7 of the 2019 semifinals. But even then I think Milwaukee would have won in the ECF.

Completely would have changed Kawhi’s legacy though. Would have just been a guy who won one ring on the Spurs as a role player.

OKC has their pick. Top 6 protected. Sixers have to get in top 6. If they get 7, Thunders get richer with lotto homegrowns.

They traded it for Danny Green back in 2020. They also gave away future key Celtic contributor Al Horford as well. Absolutely insane trade. OKC also has the Clippers pick this year. Imagine if they were actually doing badly like they should be.

Quote:

Philadelphia 76ers President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey announced today that the team has acquired Danny Green, Terrance Ferguson and Vincent Poirier (pour-ee-ay) from the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for Al Horford, a 2025 protected first-round pick and the draft rights to Théo Maledon (No. 34 selection in 2020 NBA Draft) and Vasilije Micić (No. 52 selection in 2014 NBA Draft).

The 2025 first-round pick is protected for pick Nos. 1-6, and if the pick does not convey in 2025, it will be protected for pick Nos. 1-4 in both 2026 and 2027. If not conveyed in the first round of the 2025, 2026 or 2027 drafts, the pick will be a 2027 second-round selection.

In October, Green clinched the third NBA championship of his career. An 11-year NBA veteran, he’s seen action in 688 career games (612 starts) with the Lakers, Toronto, San Antonio and Cleveland, averaging 8.9 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 25.4 minutes per contest. A career 40-percent shooter from beyond the arc, Green has made more than 1,200 three-pointers in his career, ranking within the top 25 among active NBA players. Defensively, Green has amassed nearly 700 steals and more than 500 blocks over his 11 seasons in the league, and was named to the 2016-17 All-Defensive Second Team while playing for San Antonio.

Kinda funny that Jrue and Iggy went on to win 6 championships after Philly traded them to kick-start the process.

DLO with four points and four assists as a starter today playing the 28-38 Bulls.

He could be looking at a veteran’s minimum deal this offseason. Not a contributor on a contending team, and not even a guy who will put up numbers on a bad team. What is his role in the NBA?

Perhaps he's still feeling effects from the "trauma" he suffered here in Los Angeles.

😒

(and I have always liked and defended DLO but that comment really ticked me off)

I think Byron Scott is the reason Dlo has been inconsistent. He didn't play him when he was a rookie, and the way he was mentored in the beginning hindered his development. He would be a different player if he had come into the league under a coach like Popovich.

I personally think Byron is vindicated now. He obviously ha

Byron Scott is one of the worst coaches and evaluators of talent in NBA history as a Coach. Kobe of all people told him the minutes he should be playing at his age and thought he was capable of and Byron told him he could do more. If KOBE tells you the minutes he thinks he should play and you ignore him because you think you know better, you are the worst and most idiotic Coach in NBA history.

Dlo's play this season has a very simple answer which would be obvious if you've been following it. He's been having leg and knee injuries all season that have been plaguing him all season. He's decided to try to play through them when he shouldn't be. That's about it. Same thing happened in Minnesota when you 'stopped paying attention'. He was plagued with the same and similar kinds of injuries and tried to play through them and never caught rhythm and never got right body-wise and those were his down years. When he was healthy he played well, when he was unhealthy or tried to play through injury he looked like he looks now.

Dlo's had knee issues since the beginning of his career tbf. I remember when he was getting PRP injections at 20, which was rare at the time for young players. Some players manage it and find treatments/regimens that help them perform at a high level. Everyone's dealing with something so I'm hesitant to give him that excuse. My issue with him has been his attitude and lack of motivation. He started out strong and then fizzled out. I still remember his trademark "ice in my veins" game and the "y'all haven't seen nothing yet" comment. We loved that cockiness about him but that soon turned into laziness and nonchalance. That's the quickest way to lose fan sentiment. Same deal with Paul George on the sixers (and clippers). They hate him more than Tobias Harris.

Look at these comments about someone not on your team anymore...lol..still cant get over the X huh? pathetic....ohh he immature..ohh he this and that...smh...but here yawl is...man not even on ya team...sad..

ohhh yeah for all that crazy talk whereever he goes his team has usaually went to the playoffs...

They also get better when they replace him. GSW, Minnesota, and our Lakers discarded him and didn't miss a beat.

Ohhh did we forget the Nets? See? i know you left that out because you ummm "forgot",,,

However lets see about these other teams you speak of..GSW?..had 3 allstars on it..i think they would do alright as long as THREE allstars are on the team.,,chip or bust with that..whoops sorry..they also had KD on there too.

Minn? Where have they went to? A Chip? pffft lol!!! ohhh i know! Got rid of their Star Kat annnnd gone nowhere.

Lakers? Still got no center annnnnnd its questionable will we be thowing up a banner without....yep...a center....smh...still questionable getting back to the WC..who we had as pg for that tho? Hadnt went back "yet" huh?...sopooo chip or bust now? as of right now its still left in the air..

Soooo want to answer the question i left behind? Look at those comments above and tell me which X player has got those type of comments? See? I answered your qestion..now how about answering mine?

Nets peaked with a 40-42 record and a first round playoff loss with DLO. After trading him, they won 48 games and a playoff series.

The Warriors were 8-25 with DLO and traded him for a player that ended up contributing to a championship.

The Timberwolves were 85-88 with DLO and have since been 111-69 since trading him

The Lakers were 16-13 with DLO this season and are 26-12 without him.

Seems like every team got better in the long run after trading him. I'm also not sure why championships seem to be your barometer for success when DLO has never won a championship (nor will he ever).

You only forgot one part about the Next..very important part..THEY MADE IT THEREZZZ WIT HIM...awwww. You really are very FORGETFUL...

The Warriors also got Steph back from injury. And what did he return back to? THREE ALLSTARS..pfft LOL!!! Really? What was you expecting? Them not to get a chip? pfft

Whooops you did it again...The Timberwolfs MADE IT TO THE PLAYOFFS WITH HIM... Also you do know we Lakers fans over here right? YOU DONT WIN A CHIP?..REG SEASON WINS MEANS NOTHIINGGGGG... Also ONCE AGAN...Mini so tired of going nowhere they let kat go to change things up...and its not doing any better..pffft

Umm have the Lakers won a chip yet from this? Have you went to the WCF yet?....if I said..ummm "Nooooo?" would I be correct? lol

Well what i see is you go to wins when it suites you and chips when it suits you..
....
....
All i see though is ya havent got overrrrzz ya X

They are literally packing the paint and daring them to shoot threes.

Bucks are getting wide open shots. tHey just suck.

They stopped doing it in the second half because they actually started hitting their wide open threes.

See, GSW are beating the Bucks by limiting their offense not by scoring 140. And GSW can do this because they can play a very big front court, including Draymond who infamously plays bigger than he is
