Forgot to record the game and doesn’t look like it was a good one anyway.

First.
Lakers shot like crap. Cavaliers shot like the bucket was the size of Lake Erie.
Davis and Lebron got significantly less minutes than previous games. Good rest.
Knecht had 18 and Bronny made his first NBA bucket. _________________ Fire Rob Pelinka! |

Terrible First quarter. Made some adjustments, but could never get back in the game due to that first. Bench has continued to be terrible. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

good team at home - deep - good new coach- continuity with players = loss _________________ Iman Shumpert, believes LBJ's decision to constantly team up with other All-Stars eschewed the idea of superstars continually adding layers to their repertoire. |

No depth, just G League scrubs. DK is the only guy I'm rooting for. _________________ Lakers. Built different. |

Comments and articles have identified that opposing teams have scouted the Lakers and good teams like the Cavs are able to take advantage of weaknesses.
With the lack of bigs and Cavs having high quality bigs, J.J. will have to devise adjustments to address this weakness until the Lakers can more effectively use Hayes, quickly get Kokomo up to speed for spot minutes and await the return of Vando/CWood.
With DLo, Max, AR and Rui misfiring, along with the team feeling the effects of just playing 3 games in 4 nights (but as Mychal Thompson - it’s early in the season and they are young!), that is not an excuse, these times will probably start seeing Knecht and Quincy late in games to give them reps and to see what they can do.
This team does not have the luxury of not playing “clean.” |

Putrid defense and clueless offense. I stopped watching midway through the 2nd half. |

Our offense was too slow and we had less movement in the halfcourt than we did in the first 3-4 games. Defensively, Cleveland picked us apart with the extra pass.
We need to make sure we get a couple of wins on this road trip. Otherwise, the good vibes around this team could start to evaporate. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers |

Pre garbage time it was even worse percentage wise, but the final tally for threes was:
Lakers: 6-28 (21.4%)
Cavs: 17-41 (41.5%)
That's probably downstream of a lot of problems already discussed above, but it's a good snapshot of something hard to overcome. |
