I think the
AD
Bron
DFS
max
Reaves

Lineup is ideal.

Now we need to work on some rotations that work when we go to our bench. Having someone like Turner completely changes this team when it’s time for subs.

I hope the lakers go all in on Turner. Give up whatever it takes pick wise

Turner won't be coming off the bench if they land him. Specially if they are giving up picks for him.

Turner will start and will most likely be the first one subbed out along with Lebron.

+13 in 27 minutes. JJ played Dalton 21 minutes. That's way too much. More DFS please!

Turner as starter will be as lethal as DFS in starting lineup. Sub DFS and Jax for bron and Turner in the 6 mins mark of the 1st.

Lebron usually comes back with 3mins left in 1st/3rd and start 2nd/4th with the 2nd unit.

It will be Turner/Lebron/DFS/Vando/Gabe as your 2nd unit... I think Hayes/Knecht will get squeezed out with a fully healthy team. Most likely plays spot minutes to close out 1st/3rd quarters.

And he still on minute restriction. Maybe they can have a chance vs the Nuggets now, with Max guarding Murray and DFS guarding MPJ. They can even hide Bron or AR to guard Westbrook or Gordon.

Then attack Jokic on PNR, Nuggets cant hide his defense on DFS. Dfs can actually go around him and can shoot.

I’m ok starting Turner but they can’t play that lineup for very long. Lebron can’t guard 3’s long term anymore. It probably is Dalton that loses minutes in that situation.

Turner/AD
AD/Lebron
Lebron/vando
Max/DFS
Austin/Gabe

I’m assuming this is the most likely playoff rotation with Turner. I like the idea of always having an elite shot blocker at the basket. Behind Bron. That defense will be beastly all game long.

I don't think it would have mattered if he started tonight. Once AD went down the defensive coverage changed.

Would he shot better than 1-6? Who knows but he's not the guy you rely on offensively tho.

Bad shooting night. Same with Christie. Won't be often that both shoot poorly

3 turnovers was bad, too, especially with his usage. Hopefully an outlier, only his 4th game for the season (both with us and BKN) with more than one TO

I don't mind the bad shooting but boy was he bad. Turnovers. On Defense, although he shouldn't have been assigned Maxey.

Gave me flash backs of Ham attempting to make Prince a POA defender.

What is the status of his injury? Is it just a minor injury?

This dude is the Lakers version of Ron Artest impact. Better than Ron as a shooter, not quite as good as Ron on D but all evens out to be a positive contributor. Even when he scored 0, his impact on man and team d are visible.

Bump! I am loving this trade more and more every day. He gives me the Robert Horry vibe. His role on the team, his funny interviews. He is just an awesome glue guy, and since he's Luka's boy, he's about to be super glue. Love it!!!!!

Doe-Doe has lived up to expectations.
He is a team player and his elite defensive intensity and effort has been infectious, as our entire team defense is mos def trending upward since his arrival.

He (and healthy Gabe) are the kinds of role players that great teams need, always play with energy, excel on defense, hard-nosed players that do the little things consistently and can make corner 3's.
Underrated.
