I know JJ would likely not use Koloko anymore but this is an intriguing lineup I wanna see.

Koloko
AD
Dfs
Max
Bron

All of this guys can switch assignments.

The only problem is offense, but if you will use Ad and Bron 2-Man play it would not be a problem.

PNR by AD and Bron
DFS and Max at the 3 for spacing
Koloko will be the cutter for the PNR extra pass (Same with MCGee role in 2020)

parallel to 2020 starter
Koloko ( McGee)
AD
DFS (DG)
Max (AC)
Bron

This is actually better as Koloko can guard the perimenter unlike McGee

Koloko is a two way contract so JJ and the management would really have to love him to do this. They would be more open to do this if a trade for a Center happens.

Everyone else I can see starting. Max is more of a poor man’s KCP than Caruso, DFS can give you what DG gave us. Bron is older now so don’t know if he can handle primary ball handling duties, he turns the ball over a lot these days.

Reeves and Rui as a bench duo would destroy other teams second units though and the dynamics of the roster would be more balanced.

Yup that's why they needed to trade for a legit center to bring back the formula that won them a ring in 2020

If we're talking about switch all lineups:
Reaves Vando Rui LeBron DFS is a neat lineup I'd like to see when Vando is back
Proposed on LFR as well

Reaves
Christie
Vando
Lebron
Davis

in theory is what I would like to see. get those rebounds. defend those chuckers. cut, screen, hustle. but Vando is out until 2035, so I doubt I will ever see it.

If you want to switch everything Hayes is superior to Koloko. In fact Koloko I believe was already sent to the G league. Koloko is too slow to switch anyways.

Only the 2019-20 team didn't switch everything. They relied a lot on their guards funneling their man into one of AD/McGee OR trying their best to stay ahead or with them when screens came into play. It was a lot of just good defensive discipline and focus in that system with reliance on having elite crazy rim protection as a way to not be worried about playing your man close.

Yup that's what I said that with McGee. They can basically still parallel with that team with Hayes or a big man in a trade

Hayes or Solid big man from trade (McGee)
AD
DFS (DG)
Max (KCP/AC)
Bron

Bench:
Rui (Kuzma)

This current lineup is starting to look like the 2019-2020 lineup, it's up to JJ how he will use them.

Completely agree with this. JJ was using Hayes pretty well before the injury. Hope he goes back to that instead of the small ball he's been going with at the 5 with Rui, Bron and now DFS. This was completely exposed against the Cavs. In fact AD talked about how difficult it was for him against them.

It's evident in today's game vs Blazers that they can use Hayes in McGee role. Even Koloko played well too.
