Liked the hustle today. But still slow and the blown lob where he couldn’t quite get over the lip of the rim was funny. But seriously, really liked his hustle.
So this is why we got Jemison right???
If Hayes is the primary C
Jemison/Koloko will be backup C / injury replacements
What GM…or fan for that matter…could be ok with Hayes as the starting C with two G-League players as the only true Centers? Surely Rob gets a real C. Kleber would be alright if not out indefinitely…maybe…but right now the roster isn’t filled out as needed. Neither Jemison nor Hayes and not Koloko lol! _________________ When it’s a reasonable possibility, I expect the Lakers to go after a ship like it can’t be denied. I haven’t seen a respectable effort by the Front Office for the last two off seasons nor the last trade deadline. What is going on?

Luka Magic can hopefully turn this JemiNONE stiff into JemiSOME.
not just a baller gamer Luka is a big video gamer
I can bet he will find the strengths and weaknesses of his players quickly and speak with them about what he needs them to do to be successful
Raid Leader Dungeon Leader whatever
Luckily he loved basketball more
NBA star Luka Doncic is a ‘Grandmaster’ and secretly one of the best players in the world in a completely different arena

But unbeknownst to many, he's just as dominant in an entirely different arena.
The Slovenian hooper is an avid gamer and is top-500 in the world in the Overwatch 2 video game.
Overwatch 2 is a team-based shooter known for its diverse range of characters, dynamic gameplay and 5x5 format.
Doncic is a Tank in the game, meaning he's the focal point of a team's strategy and responsible for pressing forward and making space for his teammates - not unlike his role with the Mavs.
The Dallas star was previously classed as a Grandmaster - for those just beneath the top-500 - and posted a picture of his elite Tank rank to social media
I still like the hustle. But cool down a bit man. You’re not good enough to be giving up points with some dumb Ts. Very lucky to not have picked up another T and gotten tossed while giving up another point for the hand in the Pacer’s face.
Hope he doesn’t get suspended/fined for that slight push of the ref.
He has been aggressive and active in his role everywhere he’s played.
If he can control his emotions, he could become a solid defender and rebounder. Trey has played his role quite well in the G League and has had no issues.

I like the hustle too. He's active, clears up some of the misses with offensive rebounds and scrappy scores, plus he tries on D. Yeah he's all over the place, but what more can you ask from a guy who probably wouldn't sniff the floor if we had actual centers on our team.
Welcome Trey! I like your first name. Would be nice if you could hit one.
Hope you bruise and batter opponents playing clean, legal, foul free basketball.
Like I said in January when he joined...
I realize that he borders on being like the 70's hockey and their goons, but we need at least one bruiser on the roster. Someone who can come in for a few minutes and tangle with the Draymonds and Embiids of the league.
Hayes is a great athlete but he's a bit too slim to rely on indefinitely.

Hayes hasn't been 220 pounds since his rookie season.
And he's raised from the 93rd to the 95th percentile since taking over starting center duties from AD, and just did this to Steph Curry.
If Hayes weight was his real weight which is between 235-250 everyone that for some reason thinks he's the same rail thin rookie that weighed 220 wouldn't be worried about his size.
They rarely if ever update the weight on players unless its super dramatic like 30+ pounds(KD). Kobe listed at 212 throughout his entire career from rookie onward and we KNEW that ish wasn't true _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Luca will become the most valuable asset going forward, he'll need a bodyguard. He had an enforcer in James Johnson while in Dallas. Tre could be groomed as a physical enforcer in the next few years, he's built like Anthony Mason.
Coaches need to reign in tre's aggressiveness, it's something that can be taught, much easier to dial back a players natural aggressive tendencies than going the other way.

Ya the nba is terrible at updating players weights. Lebron is listed at 250, yet when he entered the league at 245…he looked like twig compared to what he is now lol.
They never updated Dwight’s weight either when he obviously put on enormous amounts of muscle in the late 2000s.
